This is one of our favorite restaurants in the entire West Jefferson area! The staff is always extremely friendly. The food is consistently phenomenal! Everything is reasonably priced and there are quite a few different items that you can order from. This is not a sit-down restaurant, however, it is more pickup and take somewhere to enjoy the outdoors or just to bring home cuz you're working on projects or just wanting to relax. I absolutely love all the artwork that is always on the building and always decorated with lights and a fun vibe! Wow! What an awesome looking restaurant! I swear there's always something new to find on the walls every visit. I ordered a plain pepperoni pie with ham and extra cheese and also asked it to be well done. (What can I say? I like my pies crispy). Timing was perfect it was ready once I hit the door. I also ordered some additional cannolis after I had arrived and the staff had it out in less than two minutes. They also have really cool merch and offer local sodas. The service was good. The price was reasonable, but I wanted/ordered is not what I received. My order was medium spicy boneless wings. Before ordering I asked if it was a buffalo sauce and told, "yes." What I received was BBQ sauce with hot sauce added in. This was not the flavor I had in mind. Best Pizza in Ashe County! The herbivore pizza is crazy good! I really loke the crust style they have.

This place is super cool and very charming. There is a counter that runs along the windows where a small number of people can sit on stools and eat. Most people call in orders for pick up. We had the Stromboli and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. The food is made to order so it comes out piping hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. read more

Yes, yes, yes and heck yes! My partner and I visited a couple of years ago on vacation in West Jefferson. A local at a grocery store highly recommend Bobby D's. Once we walked in to place an order we were surrounded by the most comforted feeling of family. The place definitely not only has some of the best pizza, but the staff are very nice. So good. We live in Boone but we were in Ashe this evening. I'll echo others, not the best place to stop and sit down to eat. It's just a bar with some stools but we made do (one high chair). I had the chicken alfredo pizza and it was amazing. You can easily share a small. My espresso cannoli was also delicious. We're plotting ways to return! read more

Drove by this place several times as I work up here about twice a month. Swore I'd stop by and I'm glad I did. I was nervous by no cars there at 12:15 on a Tuesday but when I went inside I seen why. It's mainly set up for to go orders as the dining room is small. As I waited just a few moments for my slice of pizza, a dozen people came in and out and you can tell from the staff they know, like, and care about these customers. My wife and I picked Bobby D from Yelp. When we found it outside of main downtown, we had questions about going in, but we're glad we did. She had pizza with some vegetables, and I had tomato basil soup and mandarin salad. She said the crust was the best ever. My soup was great and the salad was very fresh.
