It was my first time ever getting lashes and she wasn't very welcoming or warm. Like come on, girls are literally throwing money at you guys daily to be a confidence booster, at least amp up your customer service. Anyway, she did a decent job (although a couple of my lashes were going in total opposite directions from each other) I was kinda bummed because this place had such a great rep. I didn't even want to go back for a 2nd time, but I didn't want to waste the $200+ I spent on my first set. However, when I was late for a refill this week, I had to make an appointment with a different stylist. Holy Moly! ALYSSA you are amazing! She was super friendly, warm, and welcoming. Not only that, you can tell during her care that she takes her time and constantly brushes your lashes to perfection. Cause' Oh My God... when I opened my eyes I had the most perfect baby-doll curled, volume perfect lashes! I highly recommend Alyssa at the Flutter Lash Bar. She is super professional and extremely talented. Thank you so much for making my day and changing my mind about this place!

Holy cow--this has our entire family eating salad each night! I add a little shredded parm and an avocado. I will never use store bought dressing again--and plan on hitting their store in Modesto next time I'm up that way! Bonus: flat $5 shipping on orders! Keep an eye out for their sales and stock up!

Review #977 Posted on 1.1.26…read more I came in here on Christmas Eve to get some last minute shopping done for family who I knew liked their products. This spot is in Modesto on Yosemite Ave, it's in an industrial area on a frontage road basically. When you walk in there's a lobby of sorts. To left is their offices, to the right is the shop. It's really spacious & nice inside. They've got big tables with olive oils all setup on each table, with different options to buy them in oz sizes & quantities too. They've also got vinaigrettes, salad dressings, and other items for the kitchen. Come checkout this local family owned business.

I can see many people are posting about the owner (older hispanic lady) and I've had my experiences too. She's rough around the edges because she's a military brat lol The first time I interacted with her she was "tough" I left my ID in the car which I needed to pay with a card. I told her I left my ID in my car, she told me in a firm voice that I shouldn't do that again, and that there's car robberies around the area. She sounded like she was bossing me around, but she was just looking out for me. Anyway, I continued going to this location, I took all and any advice the manager gave me and I had great results every time from turning black hair to red, and back to black then to blonde, she helped me. I don't know her personally but we talked every time I went, that's how I know she's a military brat, and she has to grow on you. Her personality is strong and straight forward no BS. Maybe that's why a few think she's rude and unpleasant. She's just a knuckle head but don't let that stop you from approaching her because she is extremely knowledgeable!! Just ask and take her advice!! THE STORE & OTHER EMPLOYEES: The store is always clean but not always stocked but you can ask for whatever you need in the back. The other girls there are super sweet! I've gotten help from all of them. Maybe a few in the past were stuck up but they no longer work there. Overall IT'S SALLY'S! Everything is the same this one just has a tough manager lol
