My Mom and I stopped by Bobbette & Belle last Sunday after having brunch nearby, as my Mom wanted to buy some butter tarts from them. Unfortunately, they informed my Mom that they've stopped making butter tarts but they had a very impressive display of cupcakes and a myriad of other dessert treats from one end of their counter to the other. The venue is quite spacious and brightly coloured and at the time we arrived - mid-afternoon - there were only a couple of people seated and a few other people ordered from the counter while we were there. The service was quite friendly and informative. My Mom bought four cupcakes and several other treats and she very generously offered me one of the cupcakes of my choice. I chose the Ultimate Chocolate, which is described in the venue's website as a rich chocolate cupcake base topped with chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and real Valrhona chocolate sprinkles (see pic. below). I found the chocolate flavour quite consistent, and the buttercream quite flavourful. Mom and I will more than likely be making a return trip to the immediate vicinity for brunch, so there's a pretty good chance we'll again stop by B&B for more dessert treats afterward.

So many tempting baked goods, but definitely check out their rich dark hot chocolate stirring on the side !!

Hot chocolate is off the charts! So rich and lightly sweet. Tried their Macarons too at $2.60 each which was ok for their flavour selection. I got the Matcha lemon, strawberry champagne & peach Bellini which all had the right textures & tasted nice, but nothing I would return for.

Such a cute little bakery in Leslieville! Definitely a short trek outside of the city, but I'd say it's worth it. They have a decent selection of cake slices, pastries/croissants, and macarons. We got a box of 6 macarons, though I only tried the passionfruit macaron, and a slice of the passionfruit mango cake. The macaron was absolutely perfect with a soft shell. The cake was yummy, but just a little bit denser than I would have expected. Still good though, no complaints! Everything here is slightly pricey, but I'd say it's worth it for the quality of baked goods you're getting. It's also a really cute place to just sit and have a cup of coffee and a treat. This is definitely the kind of place I would order specialty cakes from on special occasions.

Chocolate Torte. I'm still thinking about it. So smooth, airy, fluffy, flavorful, and full of chocolatey goodness. Street parking is available. Employees are kind and wrapped up our goodies neatly. Love their attention to detail. Indoor seating is available. Everything in here looked delicious. We tried their cupcakes, macarons, fleur de sel cookie, and nanaimo bar. They were all well prepared and quality ingredients are used. We were in and out in no time. If you're in the area and looking for some delicious baked goods, look no further. Bobbette & Belle has you covered. So glad we got a chance to visit!

I love Bobbette and Belle for their blueberry scones, their chocolate torte, and their macarons. Whenever I get a chance to pop by, those are the three items I always get. You can sit down and enjoy the nice treats with a cup of tea or coffee, or you can order to go! Very elegant interior design. Highly recommend coming here!

This delightful bakery has become our go-to for birthday cakes even though it isn't even the closest to home. Have tried numerous flavours and all have been delicious! Faves are salted caramel and lemon, though the chocolate cake we ordered today was very tasty. Don't be fooled by the 6" cakes- it may look tiny but actually serves 6-8 people. The frosting is especially lovely as it isn't overly sweet. Cakes are only a small selection of their offerings of course. One day we'll try other delights.

We got a gender reveal cake from here which was so delicious! I got to try a few of their other goodies which were all tasty. I love when a cake is not overly sweet. Our cake was the perfect texture and taste, again not over sweet, and was nice and fluffy. I look forward to trying more of their goodies in the future.

4.5 stars! I first saw this location last year when I was passing by the area. I've been to the Yonge location many times so I was excited to finally visit this one a few months ago. My first impression was that this place was charming and very bright due to all the natural lighting. There are a few tables upon walking in along your way to the counter and of course, the highlight is the spread of heavenly treats on the counter. The set up of this location is nicer than the other location due to the open space and lighting compared to the Yonge location, which feels a bit cramped and narrow upon entering. Their treats are delicious and so fresh tasting. I particularly love their blueberry scones, toffee pudding cake and their butter tarts - these ones are definitely a must try and come early for these! The hello dolly square, brownie and caramel scone are also good. Great selection of squares, scones, cake slices, tarts, cupcakes, macarons, and beverages like lattes, Sloane teas, etc. all in a really cute setting. Staff here are great too - they seem to love working here and they are super nice. I only wish that the prices were a bit lower so that I could buy more treats since it is so easy to spend a lot here. I have to admit that the quality of the treats is so worth the splurge though! I'm a big fan of Bobbette & Belle and I really hope that this bakery continues to expand to other areas of the city or maybe even to the GTA!

Very cute decor and interior inside. Ordered a custom cake via emailing and calling and they were very organized with a quote given to me within 24hrs. Yes their cakes are on the pricer side especially if you want it custom made however its very worth it for a very special occasion. They have two locations and you can just drop by and have a nice cup of coffee/tea and also enjoy their numerous baked goods! I will be back!

Bobbette & Belle is a cute little pastry bakery store. It has a more sophicated vibe.. where ladies are all dressed up and sipping their lattes and munching on French pastries..which is quite different than the pastry stores in the area. I did feel a little out of places in the store with my yoga mat! But what I will do for some macarons. Salted Caramel/Black Currant/Pistachio (@$2) - one of the better maracons I have - crisp outershell and with tons of filling inside - not super sweet and just enough sweetness to make them a great sugary treat I was not too excited when the lady just put my priced maracons in a paperbag! They got kind of crushed by the time I ready to eat them.. tasted as good but not good for my photos!

Salted caramel cupcake, french vanilla macaron and strawberry champagne macaron.

Adding a star just because the girl at the counter was suuuuper nice and engaging. Got the salted caramel cupcake, french vanilla macaron, and strawberry champagne macaron. Salted Caramel Cupcake: Im pretty sure they use swiss merengue butter cream so its supposed to be lighter than normal buttercream but I did feel like theirs tasted very buttery instead of being light. The actual cupcake tasted a bit like a sweet cornbread but with the caramel drizzle the flavors actually worked together. French Vanilla Macaron: Simple and delish although a bit soft Strawberry Champagne Macaron: Meh. It tasted like strawberry jam and I didn't get any champagne flavoring. There was a white ball in the center I don't know if that was supposed to be champagne icing or what but it just tasted strange Store:Beautifully decorated, many different sweets to try and cookbooks for sale as well. They also offer samples of some of the cookies in the display case.

Sticky Toffee Pudding - super sweet as it should be but it could have a smoother consistency!

My wife always judges a French Cafe by their Butter Croissant ($3.00) and she liked it! She also noticed all the  staff speak French sp it gives it even more legitimacy.  She also ordered a Flat White ($4.50) which was also good. I ordered a Plum Almond Tart ($7.25) because it was the prettiest. It was super delicious so it was definitely a good choice! Service was courteous and friendly. You place your order at the counter and bring it to your table. Someone will come around to clear the dishes when you are done It is a great place to have a nice casual time eating and socializing. They make all their food in-house in the basement. There are products for sale such as coffee beans, fruit syrup, maple syrup, smoked sauces, olive oil, scented soap, wine glassware, etc. I will definitely come back again to try other items. There is free WiFi. The neo-bisto is not wheelchair accessible since there are stairs leading up to the entrance. There are two gender-neutral washrooms. There is free street parking on their one-way south-bound street. Review 2023-017

Hopped on my bike and a half hour later I was there. The friendly staff helped me by answering my question regarding eggs and which items did not have any in the recipes. This place was also super poppin' when I got there. It was earlish in the day around 10:30am and it seemed all the tables were pretty much taken. They are adding a dinner menu which is very exciting. Their pastries are phenomenal!!! Picked up a plum and pistachio tart, a chocolate mousse cake and an apple Danish for my mom. Plus a chocolate caramelized croissant. So much butter, and yet so good. Brought my container, which they happily used. The last time I visited this spot back in 2022, I vowed I would come back and take up space in that beautiful bay window seat. Yet I haven't followed through with that yet. One day. They also changed the name, since I was there last it was called Le Conciliabule Lab. Le Conciliabule means, "speak easy", as their website says. It was used back in the day to describe a place where people would come together and talk about everything and nothing. I can definitely say that happens here. What a beautiful concept, "everything and nothing". Now named Bisou, which means kiss. That's actually really simple and sweet. Since every pastry and any food item or beverage enjoyed here is a kiss for your tastebuds. Love it. Keep going team. You are amazing!
