Love that they have a gluten free menu!
Christine S.

Was driving through Lake Zurich with my husband and wondered upon this place that is directly across the late. I immediately googled if they had gluten free options and was pleasantly surprised (a whole separate menu). The service unfortunately was not good. We had a newer server that looked absolutely lost and who also didn't know the menu. Thankfully someone else eventually came over to verify the order she put in. My husband's lunch came well after I finished my food; the guy that helped us earlier apologized and explained our server was new. All that being said; the food was ok, but overpriced even with rising costs. I would recommend this location during the warmer months for a drink and an app. This place is chill and brings a lot of locals in. Dogs are welcome on their patio.

Camilla was our waitress and hostess and everything. She was so sweet even if we came in at 9:15pm and they close at 10pm and they allowed us to still order any food. Thank you to the chef for that! This place is right across the street from yet...another lake! Lake Zurich is full of homes and restaurants that have a lake right across the street so it's beautiful and promotes taking nice walks before and after dinner let's say. Food was fun and good but the shrimp was a bit salty and the fish and chips were good with crispy light batter. Free and open parking.

Jack Daniel's burger is a five. Fish and Chips is a five- the star is the tar tar sauce. Waitresses were attentive and friendly. Refills came out on drinks and when one noticed that our main waitresses. We sat outside and view of the lake was wonderful.

Came in on a hot Tuesday, our waitress Sam was amazing! So attentive and friendly (and so pretty!) Food was fantastic and the environment was impeccable. I definitely recommend coming here.

A mouthwatering crispy chicken sandwich and a nice view of the lake!

What a pleasant surprise! I stopped in here not knowing anything about the place. I was hungry and looking for a quick bite. When I walked in, I immediately realized it was a sit-down restaurant, not order at the counter. I considered leaving, but a friendly waitress greeted me as I walked in the door and I decided to stay. The place is clean and minimalist, with a beautiful view of the lake (Lake Zurich). I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, fries, and a coke. It was all very good. They offer a variety of grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, along with burgers, wraps, pulled pork, and more. My waitress (Megan) was awesome! Bobbers offers good food and service, in a nice setting. What else could you want? I will definitely be back!

Very tasty drink with a real bobber. Strong.

The place is cute but small. Very loud and while our server was very attentive the food wasn't all that great. We both had the fish fry which honestly looked like frozen Gordon fish pieces. They were limp and cold, the curly fries were ok but cold. I might go again if I was able to sit outside. Parking is very limited and the parking lot is very very dark.

A real fun place to relax, enjoy the lake and have great food.during the summer, Bobbers is the place to chill and enjoy the lake. They have docks if you are boating to pull in and have a bite. Pizzas are great! Try the pretzel bites too.

Good Food With Lake View We visited Bobbers on a Sunday for lunch and it was very good. It sits across the street from the lake and has a nice patio with umbrella covered tables and provides a great view of the lake where we could see fisherman, boaters, skiers and tubers. They have a full bar, offered good sounding signature cocktails and numerous beers both on tap and can/bottle. I chose a tasty Crystal Lake Brewing Fox Rocker red ale ($8.00 pint). We selected a Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer ($11.95) and it was perfect. In just a few minutes we were served a very large portion of lightly breaded, fried cauliflower florets that were tossed with Frank's buffalo sauce - not real hot. Ranch dressing came with the order. 3 people could easily share this. For entrees, my wife selected the Greek Chicken Pita ($15.95). She loved it. Greek seasoned chicken with onions and tomato, served on a warm pita with tasty tzatziki sauce and fresh lemon wedges. She also selected a side salad which is in the available included sides. I had the Baja Burger ($16.95). One half pound Angus beef burger, hand formed, with pepperjack cheese, sliced avocado and fresh pico de gallo on a sturdy bun along with sliced red onion, lettuce and tomato. Very good beef flavor in a substantial sandwich. I also chose a side salad. The salads were fresh, cold and crisp. We recommend this place for comfortable dining with a lake view.

Cajun cod sandwich with curly fries

Came here a couple of weeks ago with my family for the first time and we were extremely impressed. We got here a little earlier than opening, but we wanted to sit outside, so they allowed us to sit at a table on their patio even before they opened to look at the menu. 2 other tables of people also came early, and they allowed them to sit on the patio early, as well. Obviously, our service was great the whole time we were there and our waitress always checked up on us and gave us recommendations on what they are known for/what is good. The patio is not huge and it is pretty far away from the small lake that is across the street, but it made for a relaxing atmosphere nontheless. For my food, I ordered the cajun cod sandwich and it was amazing. You can tell it was fresh and the flavor was phenomenal. I got curly fries on the side. Everyone in my family ordered different things (mostly different kinds of burgers), and everyone I was with raved about their food, as well. I was debating on whether I should get the tots or the curly fries for my side, but I chose to go with the curly fries, which I am happy about because my fiance ordered the tots and they were a little dry in my opinion. He also ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which I would love to order the next time I'm here. We ordered the cheese curds for an appetizer and these were AMAZING. They had a perfect cheese to breading ratio, and you can tell they were never frozen. The waitress even said that none of their food is ever frozen. I did not get any alcoholic drinks here, but they do have tropical-type drinks and a beer menu. I did try a little of the Bloody Mary and it was delicious. Overall, I will definitely be back here and try some other food and drink choices! So delicious.

The food was good as well as the service. It's the first place I ate at in Lake Zurich. I like to dine locally when possible.

This was the first time ever been to North Point Kitchen and I will definitely be back!…read more Parking is across the street but don't let that deter you from coming to this fantastic restaurant. From the time I walked in, I was greeted by the hostess, who was very nice and same with the bartender Cary. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and is a great date place! There is some great views of the water too and this would be a great place in the summertime! The wedge salad was very good with their homemade dressing and same with the short rib pasta which was more than ample for two people. They only serve gelato, but the salted caramel gelato was hands down the best I've ever had! Cary made a fantastic French martini too! What also impressed me was the locals that were very friendly and made the evening even more enjoyable. If you are in the area, I would definitely stop by and have a fantastic meal, cocktail gelato like I did. This restaurant definitely earned their five stars!

A delightful lakeside restaurant!…read more Our greatest desire was to sit on the back patio, enjoy the view and eat some great food. North Point Kitchen & Bar hit all of those marks! Our food was outstanding. We shared an assortment of appetizers (snacks). The Frutti Di Mare was excellent. We wished that the cannellini hummus came with more vegetables and less bread. It was hard to pick from the selection of craft cocktails, they all sounded exceptional. I went with the Moon Flower and it was delicious! Tito's, elderflower, violette, and lemon. A must stop location.

We've tried this place twice now and it was GREAT both times!…read more The first time we came was for a special occasion dinner and everything was perfect. Steak was cooked excellent, and the sides were phenomenal. Delicious drinks. The second time we went for lunch to try their lunch specials. We were thrilled with the choices- we got a steak protein bowl and a cheese burger with fries. Both were large portions and tasted fantastic. Also, VERY affordable at about $40 for two to eat beef for lunch? Yes, please. We will definitely be back for both lunch and dinners.

I really love this place. I've been there three times in the last year to meet friends for dinner,…read moreand both the service and the food have always been very good. Last night, it was fairly busy with the pre-Christmas rush, but service was swift and continuous throughout our meal. I tried the Beef Wellington, which was on their specials menu, and it was delicious. (I'm kicking myself that I forgot to take a picture!) Instead of what I'm used to, a sliced portion from a large tenderloin log, it was individually enclosed en croute, perfectly prepared medium rare, and a very good size portion of meat. I ended up eating half and sending the other half home with my friend, who had had just had dental work so wasn't able to fully indulge. My entrée came with soup or salad and a side, so I had the lemon cream of chicken (yummy!) and baked potato. I also had a cocktail - the house Manhattan, which is always good. I opted for an espresso martini instead of dessert, but I had a taste of my friend's dessert, some of the vanilla mousse from inside one of the chocolate tulips. So good! I still haven't taken my husband there, and I really need to do that. Maybe after the holidays when they're not as busy. Sounds like a plan!

Chef Dave is an expert at creating new taste adventures or taking your favorite comfort food up a notch to a new level - like our favorite bacon wrapped filet mignon meatloaf We were celebrating my husband's birthday and the staff always makes such a big deal of celebrations. It's an extra nice touch to make you feel like you're part of their family. Erica our server was a delight! We could tell she was very experienced and comfortable answering questions on the menu. On this visit we decided to try something new. My husband had the Arugula Caesar salad which was presented shaken at the table (see video) followed by the special braised pork chop with bousin mashed potato's and green beans. The pork chop was thick and perfectly cooked and juicy. I had the French onion soup followed by the Deconstructed Lobster Pot pie. The pie was filled with the most delicious sauce, baby carrots, peas, onions and luscious chucks of Lobster dotted with puff pastry shells for crunch on top. We didn't have room for deserted but Erica made sure we had a delightful dollop of fudge mousse with whipped cream and berries so he could make a wish. We decided to take home a serving of sticky toffee pudding / and when we got home we realized they even included the ice cream in a separate container. Always above and beyond! Thanks for another great celebration!

She was friendly and great at recommending dishes. The busboy (we didn't catch his name) was positive and attentive. The staff really make the spot wonderful. It's modern inside, dark paint, and updated decor. However it feels friendly with the trendy atmosphere. The way these dishes look also match the ambiance at the restaurant. We ordered lots of dishes and they mostly looked great! The Salat Roasted Beet Salad is fruity, thanks to the berries and citrus, with a pistachio whip on the bottom of the dish. It's a heavier dish for a salad, but absolutely delicious and fruity. I also had the San Francisco Style Cioppino was good, but I wasn't expecting it to be like a zupa di pesci, while the flavor was good, I was having FOMO of others eating monkfish and the walleye. The Cioppino had a Louisiana flavored sauce. There was a variety of fish which were all cooked and not overdone. It's a massive dish! We finished off with English Sticky Toffee Pudding and Italian Citrus Mascarpone Cake. The cake was amazing! It wasn't too tart and light. The sticky pudding was also delicious and very sweet. It's a very beautiful restaurant, service is great, the plates look amazing and tastes great. It's definitely a spot to try again!
