You can also add toppings but I just wanted it plain. I enjoyed the drink even with the regular sweetness, I felt the drink wasn't overly sweet. Refreshing on a rainy day.

I have been going to Happy Lemon ever since I was living in California. This shop is a little smaller that the other location, maybe 4 or so tables with chairs lining the walls. But it is surrounded by other shops, some which have yet to be open. Once everything is, this area will be busy! The service here was great being that it was the first weekend. My favorite items are any of the salter cheese drinks and a bubble waffle, don't forget get to grab a side of salted cheese to dip your waffle in. I know they don't control the menu but it's still nice to be able to control sugar options when applicable. I got the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea with 80% sugar, they did let me know that was the most the sugar could be reduced by & that was good to know. I also asked for less ice & it was nice to see it didn't reduce the volume of my drink. They have different options of beverages along with pastries you can purchase. I ordered the 'Mango Funtime,' with boba added. I wanted a smoothie to enjoy especially for this hot weather we are experiencing. I liked the taste and flavor. Not super sweet which I liked. I did think it could have been blended a bit more. I've also tried the 'Strawberry Colada,' I wasn't a big fan of that flavor.
