At dealership it would cost about $34 for the same oil change without a car wash. The attendant told me I need synthetic oil for my vehicle when I know it doesn't take it. 5W 30 for a 2013 Nissan Maxima. I'm not sure if he was trying to upsell me but he did start his sentence with "your car takes synthetic oil." Overall he was professional and courteous.

We live close to the facility and wanted to check out their service as we have 6 vehicles that always require oil change and maintenance.. The attendant told my husband the car would require synthetic oil and the cost would be 59.00. This car does not require synthetic oil per the owners manual and my husband knows this and has been a mechanic all his life but can no longer do the physical work. As the attendant apparently did not have knowledge of the oil type for the car ( which is 5W-20) my husband went to Southern Tire Mart where they provided the appropriate service. The attendant advised my husband that he could do an oil change with regular grade ( non synthetic oil) but could not guarantee it ...........why would he say this? Are they using old oil? Just questioning that. I feel like Car Care Company was just trying to make more money off of the customer for something that is not necessarily required .

We would have given full stars, but we are having issues with the paint on our new Malibu…read more(obviously a defect in workmanship/materials) and it seems as though we were being given the run-around when we asked about getting someone to look at (and, ultimately, no one did because they said we would have to schedule an appointment with the body shop. The body shop is in the same building, so why couldn't the service writer simply come out and look at the car and make us an appointment for a later date for the repairs? Instead, we have to make an appointment to have it looked at then make an appointment to have it repaired. We have also had an ongoing issue with a very annoying buzzing noise inside the cabin and every time we inquire about getting it looked at- it's always the same thing- make an appointment to make an appointment. That is inmefficiency at a governmental level. Other than that- we have been very happy with our car and the services we have received thus far. Turan-Foley took good care of us on our trade-in and new car purchase and it pains us to leave a negative review, but the issue detailed above could be remedied easily by someone simply walking from one room to another. The car was already in the shop for a service (oil change and tire rotation), take an extra five minutes when the mechanics are done and look at the paint bubbling up. Then, schedule us an appointment to do the warranty repairs- simple, right?? (I'll add some pictures of the paint issues later for anyone considering buying a new Chevrolet who may be concerned with it)
