Mr. Delozier --Joe, as he insists that I call him (I succeed about 10% of the time) -- and his staff are courteous, knowledgeable and super-competent. This was a chance referral from my trusted tire person at another fine OKC establishment, Hibdon Tire. When I heard the name I had a feeling it was a relative of an acquaintance, Josh Delozier --one of the brains behind the Truck It OKC App! I'm a big fan of that guy, so it was a happy accident that his dad owns a car repair shop just when the mechanic who serviced all of the Green family's cars moved out of state. My car was running so poorly that I couldn't even run the A/C for fear of making it worse. It wasn't a fun couple of weeks, having to plan every car trip around whether or not I would just burst into flames before reaching my destination. (Or conversely, planning every bit of travel between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to avoid it being the most miserable travel ever -- not at all practical given either of my jobs.) Compile that with the stress of wondering how much it would set me back, just UGH. Car repair is never fun, but Mr. Delozier and his awesome team got me back on the road in a flash. I dropped it off Thursday morning --bonus: the shop opens at 7 a.m. -- and by 9 a.m. he'd diagnosed the problem. He called to confirm what needed to be done, which I greatly appreciated. There was one problem that needed to be addressed immediately, and another issue that we can put off until I save my pennies. He gave me a solid estimate before diving in, and by 3 p.m. she was back to how I remembered her! Both times that I have taken her in, I feel like even without having the "in" of knowing his son, I'm treated like part of his family. It just so happens that I was lucky enough to send him a referral that same day for a friend that needed some preventative maintenance done, which is the nicest way to say "thank you" to any business. The work is excellent, as always, and the price is more than fair, especially for the amount of work that needed to be done. I am happy to be back on the road and absolutely cannot recommend them highly enough! Finding a mechanic you trust can be a pain. I am happy to spread the word!
