Me and my wife just bought a house. The house is very nice but the property have so many over grown trees. It looked like the previous owners had never done any upkeep or landscaping while they live their. I call Bob Koch to come to my house to give me an estimate. He came the next day around noon to see the trees. There are 8 trees on my property and all of them needs to be trimmed and pruned. His price was very fair and reasonable, l know because other companies I called was higher then Bob. My wife and I decided to just do 3 trees for now because we just spent all our money on the house. Bob came to our house the next morning with Andy and a giant truck to cut and pruned the 3 trees we had agreed too do. They came and started the work right away. Andy was doing the climbing and cutting and Bob was collecting and clearing the limbs and branches. After the job was done they raked up all the leaves on the ground and put in their truck. There was no mess or cleanups for me to do. I highly recommend Bob Koch to anyone who need there trees trimmed and cut. They are very hard working and the friendlious people you will ever meet. read more

Besides being just a fair tree trimmer with so many good trimmers to choose from, Cut-Tree is consistently littering our streets with their illegal advertisements. They are inconsiderate trashing the neighborhood, they'll be inconsiderate with their work at your home. read more

Share away! Pass it along! Yes I actually tried to rectify this with the company first. Yesterday 9/5/25 my 2 neighbors hired 215-cut-tree Bob Koch. My cameras caught them blowing everything from the street into my yard, they also caught them slicing off branch wood rounds and throwing them from the trees at ground crew running into my yard and driveway. So they were having fun on the ground. I get it. What I dont get is leaving it all over my property and not cleaning up. They moved 9 cans of my cans for trash pickup back in my yard and also didn't put them back. Yes I called them at 5:46 after getting home and assessing everything and it warranted a call as it was alot of clean up left for me. The manager was to send the crew back out in 20 mins, even admitted they shouldn't of did that. I also tried to get the owner on the phone and the manager said he's too busy, he handles the crews. I waited, no show. I called again at 7:13pm to follow up. He said im on another call I'll call you in 2 mins. I again waited till 8:10. Now im getting vm. So I left a message telling him I am now going to approach the neighbors if they dont come out in the morning and clean up their trash they blew and threw into my yard. And I will blast them on social media and review sites. No show. So I talked to both neighbors who are going to call and complain as well about them doing this to me. I wound up having to clean it all up while I was mowing. So as I promised now starts the social media blasting. Think twice before you hire https://www.215-cuttreeservice.com/ for tree service. They may do a good job for you, but they trash your neighbors yard with debris and make false promises to come out a make it right with your neighbors. As I stated I did reach out and was blocked from speaking with the actual owner! read more

This is not a reliable way to conduct business. We had agreed this morning that someone would come by to assess the trees I need removed and provide an estimate. I waited at the scheduled time, but no one showed up. I tried calling several times without any response, and eventually, my calls went straight to voicemail. Had he let me know he couldn't make it, I could have arranged for another company to do the job. This lack of communication disrupted my schedule and put me in a difficult position with my tenants. read more

Called for an estimate at 9 and they came at 1230 and cut the tree down at 3. Quick and lowest estimate around . Highly recommend.

Called on Wednesday late morning to get a quote for a large 40' tree that snapped during a big windstorm and fell onto (and rested) on a 60' Oak. Bob (the owner) came out within a couple of hours of my calling him and gave me a good quote. He got his crew to come out the next morning and they were done what I considered a large project before lunch the same day. Basically 24 hours from calling him to getting it done. And it was done right. Crew was friendly, quick, and Bob stopped by to make sure everything was ok. No complaints whatsoever. I've used tree services in the past, and this is by far the best experience I had. Wish I found this company in the past. read more

Bob is currently doing a wonderful job on a beast of a tree that I had out front. The tree is 45 + years old, with the height and the canopy to go along with a tree of that age. I am impressed with how carefully he removed the limbs above the house. He and his crew cleaned up very nicely as well. If you need tree service here in Northeast Philadelphia, this is the man to see. He offers affordable, quality service and will not disappoint! read more

Bob Koch 215-Cut-Tree - Bob Koch - Tree Services Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Living in Center City, I never thought about cutting down a tree. Always. Seemed blasphemous in a city that needs more trees, not less. My moms lives in West Mt. Airy, and they have plenty. So many for so long that they die of old age it seems. That's what I had to deal with. A gigantic centuries old tree that rise over my moms house. How do you cut down a dead giant that may fall down on moms this winter? Call a tree removal guy. I like to think of myself as a DIY kinda guy, but there is no way I am climbing up 40 feet with a chainsaw. Good price and service. Recommended. read more

I called Bob on o Thursday morning at 9AM. He called back, got my address, came out in an hour to give me an estimate for pruning and cleaning up a weeping blue atlas cedar. After giving me a great estimate, he got on his phone, and his two assistants showed up an hour later. They did a tremendous job of pruning and trimming this tree. It changed the entire appearance of the front yard. The cleaned everything up, then used a leaf blower to ensure everything was spotless. HIGHLY recommend Bob and his crew. Bob Koch and his crew are the ultimate in professionalism. I am a repeat customer for 6 or 7 years now. They always make sure to shape the tree nicely and the clean up after is immaculate! They respect everyone's property and my neighbors and I have had people stop & ask who cut our trees since the trees are shaped nicely and everything looks so clean afterwords! Also, Bob always gives a good price(I no longer even bother to get other estimates because whenever my neighbors or I have compared, Bob's was always the lowest price). And, the crew always make sure you are satisfied with the work before they pack up to leave! read more

Bob Koch has trimmed trees for us in the past with no complaints. Not the case this time. Had three old trees that needed to come down. The have been shedding limbs in the recent storms. Called and he came out immediately to take a look. Said that he would take them down tomorrow. I stated that we were leaving tomorrow for a scheduled vacation and would be gone for several weeks. He said not to worry that he would take care of everything. He also knows that this is not our primary residence. When we returned from our trip we went to the property to cut grass and check on the trees that were removed which is when we noticed two areas of damage in the driveway. I called to ask about it and offered to send pictures of the two spots in question. He was very angry when he returned my call and stated that he could not understand why he was hearing about this after four weeks from when the work was done. I stated that he knew that we were going to be away and that we do not live there. He stated that he was not interested in seeing any pictures because they could have been taken anywhere. I said that I would be happy to meet him there. He kept repeating over and over why he did not hear from me until several weeks after the job was done. He asked what I expected him to do about. I said that I would hope that he would repair the damage. He was rude and confrontational. I asked if he witnessed an issue the day the work was done. He stated that he was not personally there when the work was done. He accused me of trying to get a new sidewalk out of him. I asked if he used a subcontractor. He said no he does not, it is someone that he works with. I asked if he could check with the person who did the work and get back to me. He said that he would speak with him. It has been a week and no call back from Mr. Koch. I cannot personally recommend Mr. Koch or his subcontractor whoever he may be. They will take no responsibility for any damage to your property. Seriously needs to work on his people skills. Customer service nonexistent. I am sure that since Mr. Koch was speaking with a woman on the phone he thought that he could bully her and it would all go away. I am done with this company. read more

This tree crew took down a beast over high voltage wires in a safe, efficient way with no injuries to people, property, or machines. This tree collapsed my sewer line and it had to be removed as an emergency so the plumbers could get backed-up sewage out of my house and replace my sewer line from the extensive tree root damage. Very impressed with the team work and ethics of 215 Cut Tree.. They had the knowledge about how to approach a complicated removal, as well as the specialized machinery to get the job done correctly. Their six-story crane was quite impressive in action. Very nice workers and foreman. Professional, reliable, safe. Highly recommend, especially in an emergency situation. read more

Unbelievable service. Called them on a Tuesday and the tree was down Wednesday. May not sound amazing to you but wait till you experience contacting the others. The only other company to come see the tree was the same cost but never returned to do the job a 1/2 dozen times. Bob Koch Tree Service was great. read more

I only gave 4 stars because I have nothing to compare their service to. I can say that within a couple hours of calling someone was at my house for an estimate. To my surprise they were able to come out the next day and remove a small tree. They actually arrived earlier then promised. I thought the price fair and the employees were friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again. read more

Thank you for opening the portal to my domain. An eternity of darkness and Hell on Earth await. The tortured souls of the eternally damned shall now reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Bob gave a terrific price and did excellent work, I would highly recommend him to my cadre of fallen angels, the iniquitous, and generally spiritually destroyed former humans. I look forward to doing business with Bob again in the near future, assuming anything remains after the Earth is scorched by fire and brimstone raining down from the Heavens. read more

Pleased with this work. Got a tree trimmed, several stumps removed and hedges removed. Bob said he could do a same day service. Four guys came out, did a nice job, and actually cleaned up after themselves. They even took a blower and and cleaned our cars off where any debris might have collected. Fair price for the work done. Did a great job for me here in Rhawnhurst after I was ripped off by 2 fakes that just cut the branches off and never came back. Bob and his crew took the two tress down at a good price and did a fantastic clean up job. Would recommend Bob and his crew to anyone that needs a tree removed. read more

Absolutely outstanding job at Ambassador Condo by Bob Koch and his crew in trimming several trees that had been sloppily mutilated by the electric company (why don't THEY use this company?!). Very environmentally ethical and knowledgeable team. Bob spent time patiently and courteously explaining the process and answered our questions and was considerate of our requests. Flawless cleanup, very reasonably priced. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. read more
