He is a bit unconventional in his introductions, but that's his personality and I like that he was confident and we got to an immediate plan. 2 years of wasted time with an orthopedic "specialist" and non stop pain but now Dr. Alexander has me living comfortably and on a regime after about 5 visits. XOXO

I want to thank Dr. Ali for being a great physical therapist, a great chiropractor, and an amazing…read moredoctor and person all around. I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. I only wish the best for her and look forward to seeing the growth of her business! If I ever have issues and need physical therapy or chiropracty again, I would definitely go to her again. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in the area -- whether it's chronic pain, athletic damage, or from a car crash, she was able to handle it all.

She keeps all my small nagging pains at bay and allowing me to train at my fullest! Please note- she is not your typical Chiropractor. I first want to say I am a College Student studying medicine. I was trying to seek mental health support as it is constantly praised to be aware of, yet failed at finding comfort for this sensitive topic. First, I want to say how unprofessional and hurtful it was to read, I was diagnosed with conditions, I was never verbally informed about. I was made aware when I looked at my patient portal. I saw a total of three providers, referred to and from each other, yet none of them seemed aware they were referred to by someone of their own company. Two. After attending a few therapy sessions with Tami Byrd I soon realized there was no plan or notes being taken every session. I had to schedule every appointment myself which was a circus in its self. I was never called to follow up and the few times we met I was informed within the hour that she had to reschedule. This was difficult to do as I'm a full time employee and Part Time Student. When given a task to practice at home, I had to reach out to seek the resources she suggested I use to complete the tasks so we had the results to talk through the next session, which sometimes never even happened. I felt I was recapping everything we had talked about the previous session and eventually felt as if I was just talking to talk. I also felt she would try to persuade me to think a certain way to make a point, but it made me uncomfortable, especially when it involved loved ones. On our second session she referred me to a medication management doctor/ psychiatrist without my consent or any sort of a conversation or heads up. I called LifeStance to ask why I was referred to a psychiatrist, but nobody knew. I was only told my therapist had referred me. We had a few more therapy sessions after the psychiatrist appointment was scheduled, but she never asked me about it or acknowledged she placed a referral in the first place. Three. When I met with the psychiatrist, Dr. Baig-Ward, she placed labs to be done, but never informed me I had to fast which in turn was a waste of my time. I went to Quest Diagnostics where they also didn't know if I had to fast or not and bruised my arm horribly. LifeStance eventually messaged me back, after my labs were complete, informing me I had to fast. I then had to go back to Quest and get new lab results. I met with the Dr. one last time and was informed multiple times there was another patient in the waiting room and she had to end the call soon after she was 15 minutes late to our appointment! In this session we were supposed to meet to speak about the labs and further discuss medication, but the conversation of starting medication started before labs were even discussed. In fact, I brought up we had to discuss labs before making the decision to start a medication. I believe it was her first time viewing my results based on her reaction from viewing them which also was unsettling. She did not recognize which results were fasted or not until a few minutes later after I questioned her a few times. She wanted to increase my dose the next time we met, 2 weeks from then, which was uncomfortable as people don't usually notice a change until a month into the prescription, per her and other medical provider findings. Lastly, I reached out to billing via portal on two seperate occasions and never received a response. I finally decided to call and after an hour of back and forth I was informed to reach out to my insurance. They did not seem to know how to resolve the singular question I had. That particular representative was kind, but when I spoke to billing one last time this morning, representative Jasmine, rudely told me that I should know what I had paid for, after telling her I was unaware of a payment I was charged for, and later hung up the phone before I could say "thank you". Front desk LifeStance Frisco has always been kind to me, no issues ever, but all the other providers/ representatives I have spoken to made me feel unimportant and have truly made me question why mental health is so pushed to be attentive too, yet they have done the complete opposite. Mental health does matter and it's too bad this company can't seem to understand that.

I was excited and decided to schedule my appointment and will keep you posted after. Location was easy, just right off the street, office was clean and quite. Cost, it wasn't that high, very affordable even though I had to pay out of pocket with my flexibility Acct. Will recommend to friends and family members. I then met with Dr. Graves the following week to discuss my injury and he stated that maybe the pain I was experiencing in my neck and head was from Covid or lifting something heavy. FYI, up until the injury, I did not experience headaches. I scheduled the visit due to a clicking in my shoulder. I ended up going to the ER a few days after the adjustment because I had severe pain in my head and was told I had sustained a neck strain and the equivalent of whiplash. It's now been two and a half months since being injured and due to this injury, I have lost my nearsighted vision, am having ongoing sinus issues and pain in my forehead. I coughed up blood the day after the adjustment and developed a bad respiratory infection a few days later. (I had not had a cold or respiratory infection since 2013.) I have pain running through my sinuses and teeth, numbness on the outer part of my hands upon waking and issues focusing on completing tasks. Dr. Graves has chosen to ignore my calls and has taken no responsibility for the injury caused by Dr. Cross' adjustment. Furthermore, his statement that maybe Covid (I had zero symptoms of Covid) or lifting something heavy was causing my head pain after I explained to him what happened during the adjustment is concerning. FYI..I have seen chiropractors for 20 years and never have I had a chiropractor rip my head straight across my body with no angle and with such great force as if I was a large person. I weigh 108 lbs and my neck is the size of some people's arm. I caution anyone considering going to this practice due to the injury I sustained and lack of accountability and integrity I have experienced.
