Thank you Matthew for a wonderful experience at The Beachcomber. Your service and friendliness was impeccable. My sister and I had a fantastic experience at your restaurant. Thank you so much. The food was so delicious. Amazing.

Quality and service has gone down over the years. Not to mention the menu selection and variety does not stand behind the prices. I was there for my daughter's Bday ; the filet mignon was dry as a rock and when replaced with a clam chowder a piece of parchment paper was found in the soup. Terrible experience and will not go back any time soon. I guess the owner needs a wake up call or she will be closing the place soon.

The food was spectacular. Daniel D. was our server. He guided us on our selections. He was most pleasant and attentive. I had the seafood platter and my husband had the fresh grouper dinner. We shared a piece of their key lime pie for dessert. This was our best meal in Clearwater this trip.

A gem of a restaurant, a destination for delicious food and drink to discover on an otherwise generic tourist strip. Family businesses like this have become a rarity, and they have to appreciated for keeping up the tradition of classic American dining. To expect budget fare at a classy supper club like this shows a lack of knowledge of what makes this place special.

Lovely ambiance with an "old" and new section. The piano player (who is 90 and has been there for years) made it even more fancy. Our server and staff were accommodating. We were sad that they were out of grouper, but recognize it as a good thing, as it means everything is fresh. The crab cake was the best I've ever had! The oysters and seafood plater were too. You myst try the ginger molasses biscuits...almost asked to take some homeb

Nice vibe inside, super chill and I bellied up to the bar. Great conversations and excellent service. Food is really good and so are the drinks. The Pino Noir is incredible with glassware to match!

Amazing experience! Service was awesome, food was very good and everything was extremely reasonably priced! Cozy, classic feeling restaurant. We loved it

Ordered the crab cake and it was out of this world. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming.

Upscale ambiance, quiet. Service was fantastic, pleasant and friendly. Excellent seafood. Hubby had the scallops and they were very nicely done and delicious. I had the red snapper which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Probably the best red snapper I have had. Dinner salads were just the right size with a lovely in-house dressing. Now the real star of the night.... Those ginger molasses muffins!!! Everyone asks for extras to take home! Those were amazing!!

What makes this place unique? They offered Caymus Cabernet BY THE GLASS, which I have not found before, and I frequent higher end restaurants often. It was fun to have a high-end glass of wine without spending hundreds on a bottle. It's also nice if you want to try other drinks. The espresso martini (get it with Baileys added for a smoother taste!) is huge and delicious. Brussel sprouts appetizer and feta whip appetizer were both tasty and ample for two people. The spicy fish tacos are Mahi Mahi and a MUST if you like Mahi. I will only eat Mahi if close to the ocean, and it was great. No fishy taste, nice and tender. The brownie dessert that was off-menu was perfect for a sweet bite. So many nice restaurants get too crazy with their specialty desserts, and sometimes you just want a simple yet decadent treat like a brownie! Make a reservation on their website and relax. It's an easy Uber ride if staying locally as well.

Preston was so fantastic, immediately welcoming me, offering a beverage, and asking if I wanted some food. My absolute favorite thing about Drift is that they serve Caymus by the glass! I ordered a glass right away, followed by the mushroom flatbread (to which I added pepperoni--delicious!). I was able to enjoy my wine and a fresh slice of flatbread, and took the rest home, all before they closed. I was so thankful and impressed with the wonderful customer service and for accommodating me as their very last customer. Thank you, Drift--I cannot wait to come back the next time I'm in Clearwater!

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. The smoky old fashioned and expresso martini (with Baileys added extra!) drinks were tasty. Make a reservation online and Uber/Lyft if you are close as it's easy in and out!

Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great. If you are staying at the Opal Sands, the entire complex has amazing food and you don't even have to leave. Huge benefit to staying there.
