The bar is high in Princeton when it comes to diners. The first time that I went there, I had the turkey, and it didn't taste right. They covered it in gravy, and I'm not fond of gravy, but beneath the gravy was some poor quality turkey. This is not their specialty. Do avoid the turkey. However, everything else was very good. They offer a nice, balanced meal. The second time that I went, I got the grilled chicken. I wanted to get shrimp scampi, but they had fewer sides with that. I saw the scampi, though, and it looked good. The chicken was very good. Good salad, good side dishes. It's mostly a matter of picking what they are best at cooking. This might be a good place to ask the waitress what she recommends. The service and atmosphere are both good. It is a pretty nice place.

We had mixed opinions on the salsa--my husband thought it was just okay, but I personally loved it. It has that classic style and flavor that I always hope for when I sit down at a Mexican restaurant. The chips came out warm (which is always a win), and the queso appetizer was absolutely delicious--definitely worth ordering. The portions are generous, especially for the price, and everything we've tried has been really tasty. You definitely won't leave hungry. And let's not forget the margaritas--great deals and well worth it. Lupe is always a good time and good service! Overall, it's absolutely worth the trip. Consistently good food, great value, and a place we'll keep coming back to!

The expanded bar area makes a huge difference, giving it more room to hang out comfortably whether you're grabbing a quick drink or staying awhile. One of my favorite features is their private room--it's perfect for a small party or get-together without feeling disconnected from the rest of the energy in the bar. And the food... don't skip the kettle chips with horseradish sauce. Seriously. They're a must-order every time--crispy, flavorful, and that sauce has just the right kick.
