We hadn't been to Bob Evans in a number of years but my hubby wanted sausage biscuits and gravy. It was mid afternoon not breakfast time, but the biscuits that were first brought out were barely warm and were hard. I asked for new biscuits. The gravy looked like it sat in a pot since breakfast! There should be a time limit on holdingsuch items as gravy or biscuits. We used to love Bob Evans but it seems the standards have really gone down. read more

Order the 1/2 wildfire salad and pot roast dip. Salad came without the wildfire sauce so I asked for it. They returned with bbq sauce which totally ruined the salad. Sandwich was good but bread was very soggy. Waitress never came back after she dropped the food to check on us. I love Bob Evans but the Battle Creek location needs help. read more

Comfort was our Server was very polite and quick to offer a solution to the Silvervware having lime scale also she went above and beyond to help make our dinning pleasurable 5 STAR Server. FOOD: Food was hot an tasted good but the portions were not as described in menu, a customer next too an behind me had issue with stale burnt coffee an dirty mugs, over all food was a 3 on scale of 1-10. Hey, it's a Bob Evans and you probably know you can get breakfast or lunch, but if you're reading a Yelp review maybe you didn't know. If you don't know, this place is like a cross between Denny's and Cracker Barrel. They give you biscuits and/or cornbread with your meal. Personally I'd rate the value and food quality higher than Chili's or Applebee's, but it's still a mainstream chain restaurant like all those places. Service was nice and friendly, and food preparation took a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind, it's going to be busy certain times, like Saturday around 11am so maybe you want to pre-eat before you leave the house, put your name on the waiting list and grab a coffee to drink while you sit outside or in your car. And then yeah, when you get a table, get some pancakes, an omelet, or like a dinner plate with a side of mashed potatoes and vegetable. Or all of the above. read more

We had breakfast here twice recently and had great experiences and meals both times. Our server, Comfort, was especially kind, great with our kids, and did a wonderful job. Bob Evans does a great breakfast and today was no exception. Warmly greeted at the hostess stand and with excellent service from my waitress, I had a very good meal. I chose their "everything" omelet which was nicelyloaded with onions and peppers and ham and sausage, topped with shredded cheese. Instead of potatoes, we swapped out for sliced tomatoes since I'm still on the keto diet. On the side, sausage links which are always very good at Bob's. Food is good- service is slow and management is a joke. Leslie is by far the worst general manager I have ever seen. She has zero qualms about being rude with guests or belligerent with her employees in front of them. I can understand not being a people person- I hate "peopling" so I get it. Polite, quick service. Food not bad either. Enough Staff so Customers do not have to be seated or food orders to be taken.

Waiting 45 minutes to get my food. Waiting 10 for the waitress to even take my order. When I did finally get my food the waitress spilled my syrup on the floor. The eggs were completely undercooked and runny. All of my food was ice cold when I finally did get it and at that point I had already lost my appetite. Maybe if the waitresses and cooks spent less time messing around yelling and joking and more time helping each other out and doing their jobs then their service wouldn't be as shitty. Ordered online for curbside pick up once arrived called to let them know we were outside waited an additional 15 minutes called again they asked us can we come in to pickup such horrible service then opened the box of food and it looked they just threw it in the boxes biscuits hard as a rock no butter for them or the pancakes and it tasted horrible it was not good at all! Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I've ever had!! My wife , daughter and I all were so disappointed with the food and the service. All of our food was terrible! My pancakes were so raw in the middle my eggs were cold, my wife's fries were dark brown they were so burnt it was amazing someone could serve it that way. My daughter had the grilled cheese and wow how do you screw up grilled cheese??? Must have been 2 week old bread and way way way too much butter. Ok now for the service, waitress was nice enough but never came back to see how our horrible food was , not a refill on drinks nothing!!! She brought our food and I had to flag her down for silverware!! Silverware!!! Seriously???? So me and my fiancé went in after our third shift night and wanted breakfast. We went in and sat down, our waitress was so sweet and the service was good! But I made a mistake and forgot to read the entire thing I was ordering on the menu which I apologized for to my waitress saying "it's my fault and I'm so sorry!" The cook named Tina (we got her name from the super nice hostess) when my order was taken back to be remade she very loudly said "oh my god this is why people need to read" and another comment saying "like can she not read at all?!" I immediately went to the bathroom to calm myself down or I would have made a scene. Instead I left and my fiancé made sure to address the situation and how it was not okay to speak that way about costumers who admit they made a mistake, especially doing so loudly in a restaurant that had maybe 3 tables with people (it wasn't busy, it's 7:30 in the morning) my advice to Tina. Food is ok, but seems to be going down hill. Breakfast is not bad, but there are other places with better food quality around the Beckley Rd corridor I would recommend over here. Price wise you can't beat the cost. Kids meals are very reasonable and have good selections. If you are in a hurry however. Not the place to go. We have come here many times before and it seems like they are getting slower. Today they over cooked the eggs and my potatoes were raw. Went here and asked what kind of food Bob Evans serves. Our waiter asked, "Do you know anyone who lives on a farm?" Nope. "Oh, then it's like soul food." No it's not. I had the featured chicken and noodles. Dry chicken in slimy broth. Side salad was just iceberg with cheese and a couple of tomatoes. Dressing looked like an oil slick. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by the hostess who informed us we would have to wait until she could check to see what was available, (there were four tables occupied on the other side of the partition when we were seated. Then no one asked us if we wanted drinks until the waitress was ready to take our order. After we ordered more people started getting seated and orders were being taken.
