I've had the same meal, their Paleo Brekkie, several times and though the produce is always fresh I've noticed that a) the eggs are a little inconsistent in terms of how much they are cooked and the b) as I noted, the seasoning varies a fair bit. I really like the location a lot, it's at the north end of the town basin overlooking the sail boats and whatnot. It's a lovely place to grab a meal or a coffee. I'll be back, and in fact just booked a meeting there for next week.

Just a warning, if you order the Full English Breakfast then make sure you are very hungry. It comes out on a huge plate and there is a LOT of food - eggs, bacon, tomatoes, hash browns, black pudding, baked beans, mushroom, sausages, and toast. I'm a big eater but I couldn't finish this meal - it is massive! The menu here is substantial with a lot of choices, and they have an all day breakfast and all day lunch menu, and each of those has about a half dozen options. In addition, they have cafe food such as pies, savouries, and scones and sandwiches. Highly recommended! I would have rated it five stars except for the trucks backing in to make deliveries, which is right by the eating area. It's a common and expected event at 8am when we were there, but the nose can still be a distraction to conversation.

Centred amongst beautiful flora and fauna, you can also enjoy the birdsong of both Tui and kereru (Pigeons) as well as the sweet scent of flowers.
