Chicken Parmesan with two sides. Baked potato and green beans.

We went on a Tuesday at 3pm which happened to be Happy Hour (3pm-5pm) The bartenders Jack and Tommy were awesome. My first drink was a Vodka Club Soda and Lime which was covered by happy hour. My next three were Orange Crush and they were insanely delicious. They were not covered under the Happy Hour Menu. The happy hour apps we ordered were Mozzarella Sticks (Square kind) and a decent marinara sauce and also fried calamari in a basket with onion and jalapeno slices.I ate almost the entire basket they were so good. We got a table around 4:30pm outside (bayside) and our waitress was Carlie. Carlie was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She was very helpful with our ordering decisions. Our meals were the Chicken Parmigiana with Greens beans and a baked potato (you get a choice of two side with entrees and except the pasta entrees. You do get salad with all entrees. The salad dressing that comes with the side salad is tangy like olive gardens. We also had a Caesar salad and bruschetta. All of the food was delicious. It was a 90° day so it was hot but they do have inside seating with air conditioning as well. The bathrooms were clean. I have to say I'd definitely come back again!

We've been to the Boathouse a handful of times and the food is usually above average in quality, taste and price. Arrived on a Sunday around 5 during peak season to actually find the restaurant not as busy as expected. We sat at the bar until all of our party arrived. The orange crush was strong and refreshing. Hostess came over and said a large party had arrived, did we want to be seated now or wait another 15 or so in the bar. We opted to stay in the bar for another beverage while we listened to the guitar player sing. Our table for dinner was on the outside deck with a view of the marina. I recommend the deck until the sun starts to set for half of the table was blinded. Sarah was our waitress and she provided great service. I ordered the stuffed scallops. The scallops broiled perfectly and sweet. Plenty of lump crab in stuffing. Oysters fresh and briny. Food delicious. Service good. Views and atmosphere pleasing. Be prepared to spend $ though but it Wildwood in July.

We came here for dinner last week on Tuesday evening. It's preseason we there was no wait for a table. We were seated on the back deck that is enclosed for bad weather. It was perfect! Had a nice view of the water, boats and the sky. We started with shrimp cocktail and mini crab balls followed by a salad and my boyfriend had a cup of soup (she crab soup). I ordered the broiled flounder with garlic green beans and red bliss potatoes. My boyfriend had the tuna steak on a bed of pineapple salsa and crab meat on top. We finished up with freshly made butter cake with whipped cream. We took dessert home as we couldn't eat another bite! Service was great and the food was very good!

We dined at The Boathouse on the last night of our vacation and had Bree as our server. She made the experience that much better despite the fact that she had been working all day. We sat on the outside deck where the view of the sunset was gorgeous. The food left a little to be desired and is nothing special. Coming from RI where the oysters are delicious, these were not great. Our drinks were decent and the food was overall moderate.

Blueberry salmon. Small, and average with overcooked beans. The red bliss potatoes were the best part of the meal.

Service was excellent, Megan was great, but the food was subpar and over priced. Definitely will not be back. Tourist trap geared towards getting you in and out quickly. Views were nice.

Definitely recommend the boathouse. We had a wonderful dinner on the water. We sat in in the back dining room, which was very nice. I had a nice Pinot Grigio. Darren had a bloody bloody Mary. The Royal seafood combination was good and adequate. I only wish that the fish was a little bigger, serving of the fish was a little small but everything else was OK

This is a very nice environment to have a meal. It was a gorgeous fall day to sit outside. We were greeted by Jeff our server. I ordered the filet and crab cake and my wife had the fried shrimp. Family style salad was served first. It was right out of the refrigerator. I don't like it served that way. Taste wise it was not bad. My crab cake was forgettable taste wise and was only Luke warm. The filet was cooked to the medium requested but I felt it was bland. My wife's fried shrimp were just okay. Finished with key lime pie which was very good. Jeff is what a good server should aspire to be. Courteous, kind and checking in periodically during the meal. When the filet was served he asked that I cut into it and make sure that it was cooked to my liking. Wow don't even see that at the high end steak places anymore. He was great and I told him so.

Beautiful views from the back deck and great food! The surf and turf was fresh and the service was awesome. Would recommend trying this spot out.

Pre-sliced and most likely frozen slices of meat. They flip it wit a hamburger spatula! What da'?! They layer it on the unimpressive roll and boom what they call a Philly Steak is served. The cheese was lumpy and not fully melted, the meat was tough, it was kinda' like being served a Steak-umm but unfortunately a Streak-umm is better. When the chef at the Wagon Wheel arrived at work this afternoon, God averted his gaze. Being…read moreomniscient, he knew what was coming -- but even his omnipotence wasn't enough to prevent the culinary mortal sin that was inflicted upon our unsuspecting party of five this Tuesday afternoon. But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Eating at the Wagon Wheel is an experience, insofar as stubbing your toe is an experience, or contracting leprosy is an experience. Not all experiences are made equal, and some you actively hope to repress the memory of. Such was this. Let's start with the food. I ordered the steak and shrimp. I expected a juicy, tender piece of New York strip, cooked rare. Instead, I got an under-seasoned, over-cooked piece of desiccated shoe leather. As for the shrimp, if you bought a $5 slingshot from the boardwalk, you could easily repurpose them as a highly-effective crowd control weapon -- if not for those pesky Geneva Conventions, that is. Others in my party fared no better. My father-in-law received a pile of dry, chewy ribs that were so over-salted, they seemed almost designed to provoke renal failure. My wife got a hamburger that, she said, made her feel like she swallowed the contents of a cement mixer. In many respects, she wishes she did -- it certainly would be, gastronomically speaking, a step up from the Wagon Wheel. My brother-in-law and mother-in-law both ordered the steak -- although they had the presence of mind to avoid the shrimp, which, I add, were a sixteen-dollar surcharge. Sixteen fucking dollars, for four "jumbo" shrimp that were neither jumbo, nor edible. I'm still bitter about that. Oh yes, their steaks. The medium-rare one was overcooked, and the well done one was undercooked. Now, look: I appreciate the staff at the Wagon Wheel are used to only hearing the words "well done" with a sarcastic tone, like when a puppy shits outside of the house for the first time, but how do you screw up a well done steak? You just cook the fucker until it has the same consistency as the sliced up Doc Martens we were served. Everything came with a side of baked potatoes -- which, if they were originally baked this year, I would be stunned -- and a thimble of over-boiled broccoli that looked as lethargic and unhealthy as those in our party that finished their meals. Remember when I said that eating at the Wagon Wheel was an experience? It was one that our servers seemed determined to drag out, serving members of our party at random times, and with massive gaps between each person. The time between the arrival of the first plate and the last was, easily, about twenty minutes. Whoever said that "good things come to those who wait" was a liar. And this, I add, was at a time when the restaurant was as crowded as Jeffrey Epstein's funeral. In many respects, it almost felt like a piece of cruel performance art, with the restaurant serving over-salted food designed to sap the moisture out of you, but not actually coming round to take a drink order. I've rambled. I'm sorry. Let me wrap this up: The Wagon Wheel really is unmitigated bum.
