I chose Yachtsy because of the price point and you can book a captain with your boat. I wanted my friends and I to be able to sit back, drink, and relax during our voyage. Booking: Booking was super simple online. I selected the date, time, and online you have an option to select a captain. You don't get to choose who and be aware there's an additional price plus gratuity that won't be added to your online shopping cart. However, the price was minimal for the pleasure of having fun and not worrying about crashing someone else's boat! Before you sail: make sure you fill out all of the online forms. I had to do about 3, but it took only a few minutes and ensured everything was smooth for our departure. The boat: small, intimate, smooth, and fun. It is snug so if you have 6 adults that's about the max who can fit comfortably. We didn't have a lot with us, thank goodness, but keep that in mind if you have people + food + stuff for your trip. There was a Bluetooth speaker so my friend connected her phone and DJ'd the trip. Our captain was a young guy who was SO MUCH Fun and very chill. He helped to make our trip a success!

The tour we took was $25 per person. Picking up the tickets I preordered was easy. With boarding, no one told us when it was time to board though we were sitting at the dock, but we saw a group going and went along with them. Seating on the boat included an upper deck to enjoy the air; my family preferred the lower deck which was booth style. We found a booth together easily. There were large windows to look outside, but the narration was prerecorded and kind of quiet. Occasionally a crew member would chime in. The narration was always pointing out things on the starboard side, so keep that in mind. The interior seemed kind of outdated overall and most of the other people on the tour were on the elderly side, so it might cater more towards that audience. Overall, this was an okay tour of the harbor. The price was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't personally choose to do this tour again. I know there are other options that might be better through the company, so only speaking from my experience with what I described.

Food tours are great way of seeing what local life is like and skipping to the front of the line to taste a variety of dishes. We saw historic sites like the Lloyd street synagogue, Corned beef row, the Carroll Mansion, Reginald F. Lewis museum, and birthplace of the Star spangled banner flag. It was about a 3.5 hour walking tour and there were intermittent breaks to eat in restaurants. Before this tour I had no idea there was a 'Little Italy' or a 'Corned beef row' and how much history these places had from the restaurants started by immigrants in the 1800s. It also makes a difference having an enthusiastic group and getting to know everyone. This tour is highly recommended.

The food was just OK Granted I'm very picky about my food, but others in my group agreed. For the price per person the food should be much better than OK. The dinning area was quite small and the walkway counted as the stage. The restrooms were small so if you are a big person you'll need to hold it. In the end, the "killer" was not even a suspect... really??? It might as well had been one of the guest in fact the guests were more entertaining than the actors. Thank goodness the bartender was awesome drinking made it a little better just a little. Overall do not waste your money play the game Clue instead with cocktails of course.
