Bed bug bites 3 in a row
    Lena M.

Disappointing and Uncomfortable Stay -- Unsafe and Neglected I stayed at this hotel after booking the flagship location with owners' rates because my usual place, Atlantic Palace, was full. Given how much I pay annually in maintenance fees, I expected a much higher standard -- but this stay was a nightmare. The shower was clogged, forcing us to bathe in dirty water. The toilet was loud, and the exhaust fan ran nonstop day and night, making sleep nearly impossible. There was no safe in the room, even though the website clearly states safes are available 24/7 behind the front desk. When I raised this, the staff insisted every room has a safe and even sent security to my room--as if I couldn't see for myself there wasn't one. The next morning, I was told safes aren't in rooms but kept behind the front desk--and were unavailable due to maintenance or something . I had to carry my valuables with me in the heat, feeling exposed and unsafe. I've never stayed in a hotel room without a safe box, and this was unacceptable. I asked to switch rooms on both the first and second day but was told they were sold out. No extra blankets or pillows were in the closet. Housekeeping sent some after I asked, but claimed there's a strict policy allowing only one blanket after midnight -- which made no sense. My kids were cold and uncomfortable all night. The sofa bed mattress was filthy, and it came without linens. I had to call housekeeping twice just to get basic bedding. My kids were bitten by bedbugs to top it off, which is unacceptable at any hotel. Basic amenities like Do Not Disturb signs were nowhere to be found. I went downstairs early at 9:15 am for checkout. I informed the front desk that at 2:30 in the morning, my kids showed me bed bug bites after a long, exhausting day. I was checking out the next morning anyway, so I didn't see the point in waking everyone up and moving all our belongings to another room for just a few more hours of sleep. But instead of expressing any concern, the staff blamed me for not calling sooner and insisted that they would have just switched our room--again, what difference would that have made at that hour? Their response lacked any compassion. They sent a security guard to the room--to file an incident report. They said a supervisor has to see the report and get back to me . Meanwhile, at 2:30 a.m., what I actually did was book a hotel in Pennsylvania because I was planning to visit my family in Ohio. I didn't want to risk bringing bed bugs into my mother's house, so I made the responsible decision to delay the trip, find another room, and spend money washing and drying all our clothes at a laundromat--just to be safe. I explained all this to the front desk. Still, they showed no concern. No apology. Nothing. I've also filed a complaint with the corporate ownership team. For what they charge, this hotel fell far below any reasonable standard of comfort, cleanliness, and customer care. It's disappointing, especially given my loyalty and investment as an owner. It has potential but not there yet.

Atlantic City is such a great destination with plenty of entertainment, delicious food, and a friendly staff! We brought our youngest daughter here to celebrate her recent graduation from Dusquene Law! Shout out to Monster Reservations for helping us book this awesome vacation!

It seems like we're here at least once a month so we must like it. All of our accommodations are met and the view is to die for.

it was a great getaway. We had a room and it was very quiet. The building was a little rundown, but the other guest were very, very nice . all in all, i would come back.

The sign that says 16 & up along with the jacuzzi's outside
    Lita W.

Expensive and they do not welcome kids or teenagers. They advertise as family friendly. We have came in for over 10 years and now our kids are old enough to enter jacuzzi so the new owner raises the age to 18 on the inside jacuzzi & kept sign on the outside for 16 years & up can enter the 2 jacuzzis outside. Now the owner has enforced the lifeguards to remove teens that are 16 & above from outside jacuzzi that clearly say 16 & up! The sign says 16 & up. Also the rooms are rusty doors not very clean. Front desk staff is always amazing!

Amazing view beautiful room very clean everything that we needed. Grace had helped me with the room arrangement before before we arrived. Everyone was lovely at the check in The rooms were big the beds were comfortable. The views were absolutely stunningly amazing We had a little issue with one of the heaters in one bedroom and they had to order a part so it didn't get fixed before we left but it wasn't that big of a deal we were warm enough Good size bedrooms, good size bathrooms, kitchen, eating area, almost all of the utensils that you needed to cook a basic meal. Good microwave very clean. We travel a lot and see a lot of different hotels and timeshares and this is probably the top three because of the stunning views and the lovely people For some reason, I was not able to post other pictures, but this is what you could see from different rooms in the balcony feels very safe and is spacious for sightseeing

Perfect and relaxing spot on the boardwalk. I love the view, convenience to everything and spacious rooms. I have stayed in studio type and 1 bedroom type rooms and have enjoyed both options. Nice, fully equipped kitchen makes for an even great stay when you can prepare a few meals while looking out to the ocean, this also helps save some money while vacationing. The staff is very friendly and housekeeping takes care of customer requests very promptly. I just wished that parking was not charged separately per night and would be free for a weekly stay. Many rooms are renovated and the beds super comfy. They also have a free shuttle that takes you to different focal points throughout the city. I highly recommend checking them out.

*****THIS IS A LONG READ*****…read more This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I must say, my check-in experience was horrible! This is my birthday weekend, so I came alone for a little R&R and self-care. I did not expect to be treated as horribly as I was! I arrived about 3:30 and went to the kiosk for express check-in, only to realize I had left my wallet in my car. I went over to the bell hop desk, where I was nicely greeted by Mario, to ask if I could leave my belongings there while I went to retrieve my wallet. Mario explained to me that he could hold my things, but had to grab a cart for them and give me a ticket as standard protocol. While I waited for him to return, the most RUDE, NASTY, ARROGANT, IMPOLITE, IGNORANT male comes to me yelling, "MA'AM YOU CAN'T LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE!" I told him to calm down and stop talking to me like that! I then tried explaining the situation to him, and what Mario told me, but before I could finish, he cut me off and yells... "Well he's new! That's why he told you to leave your stuff here! I'M THE BELL CAPTAIN! HE SHOULD'VE CAME AND GOT ME! YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOUR STUFF HERE, YOU NEED A TICKET!" I asked him why he was yelling! There was no need for that, especially if I'm not speaking to him that way! He replies while flailing his arms around, "OH HERE WE GO! HERRRRRE WE GO!" I tried again to explain that Mario had already told me that, but Mr. "Bell Captain" who I later found out name is Saleem, was so bent on letting me know his position that he couldn't even hear what I was saying. Mario then comes back with the cart, and he proceeds to yell at Mario! "DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN! WHO AM I??? WHO AM I ??" Mario and another Bellman quietly says, "Bell Captain." He then says, "YEAH SO THAT'S WHY Y'ALL CHECK WITH ME FIRST!" I stepped in and told him that if he's a real leader, he doesn't have to blast who he is, (not to mention it was on his name tag) and he should not be embarrassing his employees publicly. He could have talked to him in the back and let him know what he did wrong. I didn't need to see that! I also told him, I'm not sure if he's having a bad day, but there was no reason for him to behave this way! He starts yelling...again...."I'M GREAT! ALL MY BILLS ARE PAID! I GOT MONEY IN THE BANK! I'M GOOD!" I don't understand what that had to do with anything but whatever. He then went back to yelling about him being the Bell Captain and what the protocol was for me leaving my stuff there. CLEARLY he missed that Mario did the right thing from the beginning! Mr. Bell Captain just felt the need to power trip in that moment for whatever reason. I told him he needed to listen and not interrupt when someone is speaking because he would have known that it was handled correctly! He put his hand up and says, I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU!" I looked at Mario, thanked him for helping me and told him he did nothing wrong. This situation made me so angry that I burst into tears! To add insult to injury, after all the drama, I was waiting for over an hour to get my belongings because SOMEONE put the incorrect room number in the system. I found that out because I had to go back down to the lobby to see what was going on with my things. I was late for my dinner reservation, and my night was pretty much ruined. I couldn't fully enjoy my dinner the way I'd hoped to. I actually cried while at the restaurant because I was still so frustrated with how everything had gone. Not only did I come here to rest and relax, I came her to try and release some of my grief from the loss of my Baby Brother. Hopefully my spa experience will be much better. Shout out to "T" whom I believe was the Operations Manager. He helped me calm down and agreed to address Saleem and the issue. However, I wanted this situation to be documented. NOBODY should ever be able to get away with mistreating ANYONE no matter their position. I WILL be pursuing this further until I'm satisfied with the outcome.

We arrived pretty late and the check-in line was long, but it moved quickly so that was a plus. First thing to note: the casino definitely smells like a full-on cigarette campaign, so just be prepared for that. Aside from that, there are tons of options for food, shopping, and of course plenty of ways to gamble. The staff was nice across the board, and the bartenders were especially friendly and made us some great drinks. We stayed one night and the room was huge, easily enough space for four people in a standard room. The bathroom was really nice, and there's a mini fridge in the room which is always convenient. Parking is not complimentary, so keep that in mind. The pool was closed (not sure why), which was a little disappointing. But overall, it's a nice casino, reasonably priced for a quick trip, and I'd definitely visit again. Bonus points for being both dog-friendly and kid-friendly.
