I found Floral Fashions and they were exactly what I was looking for! I told them the occasion and they suggested several options over the phone. They offer both silk and fresh flowers. I called 20 mins before closing and They were able to deliver a gorgeous arrangement to my friends within the hour! They even said that if they weren't home they would try again tomorrow because it was too cold to leave the flowers out...you don't get that with big box flower companies! The best part was that they are so local, they knew my friends address without me having to dig for it! The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality product and level of service provided. For me it was a better, brighter, more enjoyable place to shop than any of the other gift shops on the street with lots of variety and interesting things to see. The layout is good and easy to move through, which mattered to me because I'm always trying to navigate with my small dog and the shop stays pretty busy. They had lots of apparel with some pretty creative designs, plushies, unique souvenirs and more. It's a fun quirky shop and you can definitely spend a lot of time in here browsing. You can also pick up some pretty rare gifts for yourself and others. I will admit I had to be selective with what I actually purchased because it's easy to fill up your arms/cart but the prices can be a little prohibitive so you will most likely have to make some choices in the end like I did. The store is dog friendly, but our pup did get a little scared by the large animatronic Bigfoot, so just beware . It's all in good fun and the employees really seem to enjoy the customers screams when it frightens them . The folks working are really friendly and happy to answer questions. The store is spacious and has some goods by national and international companies like Squishables but also a lot of local and regional companies, which I really appreciated. My finds included an adorable Mothman plush, a couple stickers, a Mothman/Flatwoods Monster t-shirt, and more. There is a lot of variety in general but especially in available stickers and pins, perfect for souvenir gifting. And try the root beer. It's fantastic. I also had a lot of fun at the Mothman Black Light Mini Golf upstairs. It's reasonably priced, and the theming is incredibly fun -- kitschy fun but also a bit spooky! I would say that if you're sensitive to loud sounds (including simulated gunfire) and mild "jump scares", I'd skip the golf. However, my friend and I had a blast, and the gentleman running it was great. I'll keep stopping in when I'm in the area, and I've already started recommending it to others.
