I wanted them to cater my son's and fiancee's couples' shower. We could not have been happier--the food was delivered professionally (the fruit and cheese tray was displayed on a beautiful Lenox tray, along with quality party crackers) and Benay walked me through how to keep everything warm (or cold, depending on the food). All of the food was not only fresh, but delicious and creatively prepared. My son even asked to take home some of the leftovers. I highly recommend using Adrienne's Ultimate Catering for any size event!

Calvina was easy to work with, and provided beautiful, creative, and fun dishes, decor, ideas, and presentation. They also had a great price point! I would recommend them to anyone and hope to see this company thrive for years to come. ** For some extra detail, we got married in Jamaica and then histed a party here for those that couldnt come. We settled on the below menu: APPS: Jamaican Beef Patties Veggie Rolls ENTREES: Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pulled Pork SIDES: Coconut Peas and Rice Smoked Mac and Cheese Green beans with hamhocks and potatoes All with iced tea and pineapple juice. She also made a Jamaican fruit cake, which was our wedding cake. It was so delicious and special because you can't just go and get that cake just anywhere. But I sadly didn't get my first second or third choices, but my fourth) I opted for the NYS cheesecake. The prices were a bit high... $7 for a slice of plain cheesecake. I stopped by this truck on the most recent edition of food truck Tuesday's at Larkin Square when my girlfriend wanted a sweet and I couldn't resist trying both a chocolate cupcake and one of the chocolate covered rice crispy treats (give me a break, the prices were fantastic!). The cupcake was only around $3 while the rice crispy treat was only $1 (You really can't beat these prices). The cupcake was pretty average, but it's a cupcake so it is what it is. I really enjoyed the rice crispy treat and when you combine friendly service, fair pricing, and tasty treats, you can't really go wrong with stopping at the Sweet Lisa truck!

I absolutely love, love, love charcuterie and found A Board Above on social media. I especially…read morewanted to check out The Graze Bar, a personalized build your own charcuterie experience located inside of A Board Above. I opted for the "Flying Solo" size due to the price points and I also happened to be flying solo during my visit! The "Flying Solo" size comes in a cute cup with one meat, one cheese, one side, and a pre-packaged honey stick. I am pretty much obsessed with prosciutto so I had my heart set on that as my meat selection. Unfortunately for me, that also meant a $3 up-charge. When I couldn't decide between a decent sized brie and the blueberry goat cheese, I agreed to another up-charge so I could get both for my side, I opted for the cornichons aka mini pickles. I should note the "Flying Solo" came with two crackers, albeit long crackers that could be broken up into several pieces (thankfully). In terms of service, the woman working was very pleasant and friendly. She described each of the meats and cheeses and shared A Board Above has been in their current location for about a year and a half. They had been using it for their industrial kitchen and opened The Graze Bar about six weeks ago as a solution for those wanting same day charcuterie boards. Bottled beverages are also available as well as some jams, etc. I would love to see items for purchase to make your own charcuterie in the future i.e., partnering with woodworkers in the area for the boards, cheese knives for sale, meat and cheese placards, etc. The location is small but packs a good punch. Easy parking right in front or overflow on the side of the buildings. I am sitting outside writing this review and enjoying my charcuterie. I should probably go back in and ask for a small plate to be better able to assemble and enjoy each of the items but I will make do. I can't speak to the pre-order options but it looks like there are quite a few! The Graze Bar is a neat idea that I'd recommend checking out. Note the price may increase if your preferences aren't included in whichever size you order.

The presentation is always pretty, but it's never very filling for the price paid, and things that should be refrigerated are not (i.e. many cheeses sit out at room temp the whole time so people avoid eating them, leaving them to be discarded at the end). Much of the display is for aesthetic purposes only and not edible.

Not only was every single piece of food served at our wedding absolute perfection, the people who work for this company, especially the owner (who attended and meticulously ran our evening without a single flaw) were so special and skilled. And, prior to the wedding, we got a display of exactly how our tables would be setup, down to the feet of the space and where everything would be precisely placed, even the spacing of the pillars around the venue. That's how you know they note every. single. detail. Everyone raved about the appetizer display, plated dinner with seconds offered, and the beautiful fresh and light lemon cake.
