Forget bars and restaurants - this is THE spot for a team-building event. The space is ready for receiving large groups, with water spigots and long tables ready for shared food and drink. A friend group hosted a craft night here recently and we had such a great time. Board & Brush is a franchise, but this particular one is run by a family of folks that are just so warm and welcoming that it feels like coming to a workshop in someone's home. We all pre-selected the crafts we wanted to make before the event (every one could choose their own, and there's a fairly wide range of things to make), and by the time we arrived, everything was prepped and ready to go. Even if we all chose different things to make, we were given clear and easy directions so that no one ever felt lost. Best yet, if we made any uh-ohs or mistakes, expert hands were always nearby with a fix. I'm accustomed to crafting spots that require you to leave your item there for a night or two to try or process. It means an extra trip out, which can be annoying if you're not from the area. I loved that there was no such wait time with our crafts here. The making-and-processing time was enough during the event slot that we could all take our new charcuterie boards, signboards, and baskets home that very night. Thanks to our night there, I now have a handsome custom wooden tray in our living room that I can proudly point to as a piece of decor I made from scratch (well, sort of). Prices of crafts depend on type, difficulty of prep, and optional add-ons. The space inside has a ton of ready-made signs for inspiration (all of which I learned is actually for sale). Though they're located on a Main Street, there was a good amount of street spots available, and then a nearby lot for additional parking. read more

What can I say about this place!? It was amazing and my first time experience was amazing and so much fun!! I cannot wait to go back. The assistants were so helpful in explaining everything and answering any questions. They explained different stains to use on our wood that would look best for the project and colors that we chose. They were very attentive. I spent about three hours there and it was well worth it. I'm already setting up another weekend to go. It was Nice to go from an empty " canvas" to see your work of art done. I highly recommend this place. We brought own food with snacks, but no alcohol lol ( as other groups did). I will say if you're looking for something fun and engaging this is definitely the place and activity to do. It is definitely pricey but worth it! So what are you waiting for? Such a fun night! My friend and I came here on a Wednesday night to create the 'Welcome Pumpkin Planter'. Greg was extremely helpful in walking us through every step of the project. I've done a few 'Pinot Palette classes' and left with a piece of junk... not here. This is a gorgeous piece that will be part of my fall display for years to come! Came here with a big group of women for an organized event. The managers were very helpful and cooperative to close down the place on a Wednesday night. How to start: Call or email ahead to reserve the space All participants must select their craft and register/pay prior to the event. Most crafts are personalized with your family name. The registration portal also offers the opportunity to indicate who you want to sit near. This is perfect if you "have" to sit near someone. Upon arrival your stencil is ready for you. The wood is sanded, stained, painted in some cases. The stencil is applied and painted. The end result looks really great! But that's because this place makes it so easy for you. Greg was a great teacher and the assistants were super helpful. BYOB wine and food! They have a large, communal table to put the food on, which adds to the feelings of celebration and helps prevent spilling wine on your craft. Does not prevent you from spilling wine, I still did that. Oh well. I would be back and highly recommend. read more

If you'd like to be treated with extremely poor customer service, then this is the place for you. I took my daughter here in early January for a workshop, which was enjoyable. Since it's a pandemic and we are all feeling the brunt financially, the only reason I did so is because I had a $70 credit from a previous workshop that was cancelled. However, I was accidentally charged the full $70. I have been calling, emailing, and have even stopped by the studio in person to get my money refunded, and have heard absolutely nothing. Now granted, I'm not going to become poor over the loss of this $70, but it's the principle behind it. If you're a business owner and make a mistake, fix it. I shouldn't have to chase someone for money that was mine to begin with! read more

My daughters and I had a great night at Board & Brush pre-Covid and I made a piece with a slat for each of my grandchildren. This Spring, my newest grandchild-to-be was stillborn. I recently asked Board & Brush to create and add a slat to the piece for this baby. I can't say enough about their kindness and consideration and am so grateful for their help.
