I needed a one week turnaround on a custom frame job for a birthday gift and the owner (Jan) assured me she could deliver. The selection of frame and matting was painless and the piece itself was artistically and professionally done as promised. Very pleased with the work -- as was the recipient. Note that a Yelp check-in gets you a 10% discount on your first order -- also noted on the Yelp business page. My only quibble with the service (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the manner in which the Yelp discount was applied in my case. I didn't check in on Yelp until I was almost out the door after having paid a deposit. Once I mentioned it, Jan told me she already gave me the discount. How could she have known to give me a Yelp discount if I had not yet checked in on Yelp?? I did not dicker about the pricing (north of $200 for a single mat and basic frame) because I needed a quick turnaround and was in a rush. But if I had it to do over again -- I would have paid closer attention to the quoted price BEFORE agreeing to it -- and only then mention the Yelp check-in so that the discount could be applied before paying the deposit. At pick up -- Jan gave me an additional discount on account of the Yelp check-in snafu which was entirely her initiative -- and which I felt was fair. As I am fully satisfied with the work and the value received I enthusiastically recommend Jan and FRAMED for all your framing needs. You will not be disappointed.

I have to Thank Paul for helping restore my heirloom Seth Thomas mantel clock. It is my family treasure, and I thought I would never hear the chimes again. I feel as though he might have sold my clock and will not answer my inquires. My disadvantage is living out of State but I did have a credible recommendation from a Seiko Company to contact this person for repairs.
