    Like a step back in time, this business is set in a quiet, shaded, park-like setting under giant…read morecottonwood trees just as it has been since 1952. Walking up to the little building you can tell it is a labor of love and it shows. The flowers are beautiful, and the place is tidy and well kept. The staff (I think the family that owns it) greet you with a smile and make sure you have everything that you need. Granted, the course is simple, (it was designed in the 50's) but you get to ring a bell and everyone cheers when you get a hole-in-one. You get a commemorative bumper sticker as a trophy! There is a chance to spin "The Prize Wheel" on the 19th hole. They still have one of the original obstacles (A little windmill, still working) and one of those penny grocery store mechanical horses that kids can ride for free! In an age when people require fire spitting robot pirates and exploding dragons to be entertained, it's nice to remember what it was like to go to a small amusement, run with pride, and enjoy a simple, outdoor activity, and company of people that you love.

Now, you may be wondering why I gave it three stars if I'm giving it such hype. Well, the real reason is just wear and tear of equipment. The course has a ton of potential but needs to be updated to stay relevant! The people were friendly, it was cheap, and it'll give you a use for that time to kill! However, if you're looking for a more modern experience, check out the one at the Ice and Events Center!
