I've only gone to one other Bo's coffee in my lifetime, and since we were sorta around the area, I thought I'd give this one a try!
Running errands with fam, we decided to come by and chill a bit.
Big Bro and I have our must-haves, and we're glad they haven't changed their (overall) menu too much.
ICED MATCHA LATTE: My go-to drink. They've been incredibly consistent with this - albeit this is a different branch. The matcha flavor really shines here. What I like about this drink even more is that it's not over abundantly sweet.
GOURMET TUYO PASTA: I've tried the Spanish sardines pasta before, but I kinda just wanted to snack on something. I was going to order that, but this caught Big Bro's attention and asked if he wanted to share. "YES!" We actually smelled it getting prepped and the aroma is that very familiar tuyo smell. Pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente and the tuyo not only added flavor but complimented the sun dried tomatoes. Add a few drops of lemon juice for a bit of tang. The bread was toasted well and a good palate cleanser. (This pasta was so good that someone else in our party got enticed with the aroma alone that they ordered their own!)
Both chocolate muffins and ensaymada were served warm. There were no hints of dryness from both. They were moist and fluffy - it was almost a challenge trying not to eat the whole thing!
My drink surprisingly paired well with both the pasta and the baked goods. Weird, but true!
FOOD/DRINKS: 5. Consistency is key!
SERVICE: 5. Service with a smile! Our drinks and food don't take long. And they were mindful about cleaning up quickly.
VALUE: 5. Some may think it's a bit on the pricey end, but for the quality you get, it's more than fair.
PARKING: Private lot.
OVERALL: 5.
Big Bro also enjoyed his drink. And we enjoyed the visit so much, we bought merch (coffee beans included) to bring back home.
Future visits are guaranteed - if only for the pasta dishes! Looking forward to it, indeed! read more
