They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. Well, this past Saturday my car wouldn't start, so I was told by a very good friend that I take it to TN3 Automotive, which I did (Had my car towed) on Tuesday. I'd previously contacted the owner, Tom, informing him my car was being towed to his shop, and so he took basic information regarding what types of issues I'd been experiencing, which I provided. I met Tom the following day, and he was genial, kind, listened intently, and just a solid individual through & through. He exudes honesty & integrity, and assured me he'd locate the issue, and he did just that. The thoroughness of his Teams assessment of my vehicle, every part captured by clear photos that included a specific narrative of my car parts issue, and whether it was deemed an emergency fix, or just watch & keep an eye on it was noted, & reassuring. Not once did he advise that I needed this or that done to my vehicle, but clearly enunciated in line of priority things I should take care of. Ended up being a PGMFI Main Start Relay why my car wouldn't start. Out the door for $340.00. Car is running excellent!! I have very high expectations of service providers, and he exemplifies the highest of integrity & standards!! Botched brake repair jeopardized the life of me and my son. When confronted about the negligent…read morework, the owner, Peter became defensive and belligerent. I am sending him a demand letter (see pictures) today and am prepared to follow up with a complaint to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and file suit. Other work was ok, but not problem free. I see that the owner responded to my review. My friend did indeed work on my brakes. He replaced the rotors and the brake pads. He didn't touch the hydraulics. Sunrise Auto did the work on the hydraulic lines for the left front wheel brakes. The failure of my brake system occurred because the brake line work was not properly done. Sunrise Auto placed the flexible brake line where it would rub on the inside wheel well, ultimately causing a break in the line and a failure of hydraulic pressure. As I said, this botched repair job put my son at risk of serious bodily injury or death from traveling in a vehicle with no brakes. Here's my personal message to you, Peter. You evidently ignored my demand letter because I didn't receive payment. The next step is the Bureau of Automotive Repair. And after that I will pursue other legal remedies. I hope the readers of my review and your response will take heed and will take their business to another mechanic who performs reputable work.

I had him troubleshoot, an air-conditioning problem. Conduct an oil change, rotate the tires and do a brake flush. They took the time to explain how they do business and since I had to leave my vehicle there overnight I was concerned about leaving it out. They advised me that all vehicles are stored in protected lot with a tall barbed wire fence so it will be very secure. They did an amazing job and they did a nice job communicating the progress and final results. The price was very reasonable and they even washed the truck for me! I will back for all my auto repair needs.

ASR was my "go-to" for about 4 years, and , generally, saved me money on most simple services for my 1997 Jag. ASR actually replaced tail light bulbs and would do a pre-trip inspection, and shuttle home if necessary, without charge. I simply do not have a deep pocket that the Jaguar dealer's service dept requires, and I am suspicious of all repair shops, all genres. In March, I experienced dash warning lights and obvious erroneous engine temp gauge readings("dummy" gauge). ASR did some necessary repairs, but I was dissatisfied with the information they supplied about additional work and questioned their expertise in continuing to work on the car, as this car has some quirks and even is different from later '97s. .....which I reminded them of several times. Bottom line; their inexperience with this particular car resulted in some things that were done incorrectly and which could have caused serious damage(wrong wrong wrong radiator hose clamps). Made no mention of BAD motor mounts. AND left dents in upper fender near hood seam, both sides(obvious to me even that it was from a tech leaning on fender). I did not take it back after discovering the issues, my bad move there, but I had contacted them through two different emails, with details.... apparently they didn't receive one of those. And the one they did get, their reply went to my "junk mail", so I did not see it and assumed they were ignoring me. Eventually, I did send them photos of the dents, etc, and they DID then ignore me. My insurance would not cover it, given they would need one claim for each fender, but also filing a claim would cause my rate to go up. I did take my car to an "indie" Jag/Rover shop, for remaining repairs.... Pricier but more knowledgeable, which will give me piece of mind. Probably ASR is a competent shop for average cars, just not my car.
