And the rules can be a hassle if you are not planning ahead. It's all entirely true. BUT... Good lord is the meat good. The man knows his trade. His sourcing is top notch, and once you make it inside the store, he is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about how to store, prepare, and cook every product he sells. I can only afford it every once in a while, but if I need an absolute slam-dunk for a special occasion, I always hit up Mitch. His manager lady (I'm sorry I don't recall your name!) is incredibly nice and helpful, making suggestions and giving tips. The business has its quirks, and if you don't like the rules or the prices, it's best you go somewhere else. But if you're in need of one of the best pieces of meat you've ever had, suck it up and go see Mitch. Call ahead and you're golden.

We seared ours in a cast-iron skillet and use the juice to top the mashed potatoes we made as well as seared broccolini on the side. These two pieces were honestly large and we ended up having leftovers to sear up for dinner another day as well. I will certainly be coming back again for a special occasion dinner! Please do pre-order because it will make us so much easier for him as well as you so you can ensure that you get exactly what you need!

If they decided on a better bun I think this could be the best burger I've ever had, and I've had a lot. The bun taste great. I love brioche, but for this burger it fell apart from all the juices running out of it. My mouth is watering thinking about another one! The fries were a little under cooked. They were done, but not crispy. Otherwise it was an absolutely stunning lunch experience! The service was a little slow, but that was fine. There were only 4 other tables seated when I was there. I'd say if you're in a hurry this isn't the right spot. This is an excellent spot for a business lunch. The ambiance was great. Relaxed, casual, clean and modern all done with some style and flair. I'll be back.

The ribs fell off the bone and were delicious. The pork was pretty standard but good. The Applewood smoked bacon was fantastic as were the candied Wagyu meatballs. I had an old fashioned that was very strong. It has a nice atmosphere, I guess you'd call it shabby chic. We sat outside with a nice view of the tree line.

I went on a Monday for lunch, the wait was fair since it was lunch time. I did notice that they were having a bit of difficulty with their card machine, so just in case bring some cash. I ordered a steak huarache, which is a thick corn flour "tortilla" that is covered with bean, steak. lettuce and grated cheese. I was disappointed that the huarache was a bit tough on the sides, making it hard to cut with a knife but once you got around it, it became more manageable. They don't skimp out on their meat, which as a foodie I love. The huarache was covered with steak and I also noticed that my sisters cocktail was filled with shrimp. One thing that can improve is making their aquas frescas taste more natural.

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door. The immediate parking lot is kind of small and shared with some other establishments, but there is plenty of other parking in connecting lots around the establishment. So no worries if you don't get as lucky as we do. The hostess was very pleasant and offered either indoor or outdoor seating. It was a rainy day so we opted for inside to be on the safe side (the patio is covered though, so no worries if that's your preference). Our server Nicholas was super polite and helpful. He explained the menu and abbreviations to my party with suffient detail. The food was cooked to perfection and served at the perfect temperature. We'll definitely return based on the stellar hospitality!
