Our homes are in the city and access to the area is limited to just an alley separating the properties. It was difficult to find the right sized contractor to handle the job and Smith Paving was perfect. The job was done on time, the guys cleaned up the work area beautifully upon completion, and the replacement wall and fence look fantastic. My neighbor and I are both very happy with the results! In fact we both had some brick pointing and other small masonry jobs taken care of while they were on site. I would definitely hire them again. The price was competitive and the work was well done.

Evan coordinated removing the sheds and rocks, building a dry-well to fix irrigation issues, installing a patio and sod and building a fence. There were also some permitting issues that required altering plans and delays due to terrible rain storms and they worked around all of these issues well. Over all it was a great experience. I'll be hiring them back for seasonal cleanups.

Evan trimmed them beautifully, and they look so nice in a new bed of mulch! That was a pretty small job, but it came out great! Also had a patio put in this summer and my lawn was torn up really bad by the bobcat and other machinery for pouring the concrete. I wanted some sod to get it back up to speed quickly and Evan came thru again! Got it all done in one day, and the sod looks great! He gave me good instructions on how to keep it going during the heatwave, regular watering in the AM and evening, but not at night. It's doing great so far and I'm very pleased with E&J Landscaping! I initially hired them to remove a poorly…read moreinstalled concrete patio, but after speaking with Joshua (the owner), I decided to go a step further and have a new pea gravel patio installed along with a step under the door. I also had some brick repairs done on my retaining wall and had the driveway seal coated. Every part of the project was done with care and precision. The work was impeccable--they even worked through Memorial Day to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Joshua takes immense pride in his work and it shows. He thoughtfully assessed what needed to be done and consistently went above and beyond to ensure the results not only met, but exceeded my expectations. After a previous bad experience and almost being scammed by another so-called "contractor," I was understandably cautious. I asked a lot of questions--so many that I even annoyed myself! But Joshua answered each one with patience, professionalism, and kindness. His passion for his work is obvious, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing I was in good hands. If you're looking for a contractor who delivers high-quality results, values your satisfaction, and truly takes pride in their craft, look no further than Trout Concrete. Don't hesitate--they are prompt, thorough, and genuinely committed to doing the job right. I absolutely plan to work with Joshua and Trout Concrete again. Next up: repointing my steps and possibly creating a new path in the yard!
