If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid BMG Powersports if you care about your motorcycle, your money, or your safety. After an accident, I had my bike towed here instead of Gold Coast. Huge mistake. I provided upgraded parts for the repair, and they tried to pocket them without crediting me or adjusting my bill--telling me to "take it up with insurance." That was shady from the beginning. They were supposed to replace items like my Barkbusters with the exact parts listed in their quote. Instead, they installed a flimsy knockoff you could literally bend by hand. When I asked them to fix it, they ignored me. I ended up replacing it myself. Their workmanship was careless--partially stripped bolts, loose components, and handlebars still torqued from the accident. After eight months in their shop, there's no excuse. And even then, they pressured me to take the bike back unfinished--missing decals--saying they'd mail them later. I refused because they were already paid to finish the job. When they finally got the decals in stock, they botched the install and had to reorder, delaying things again. It gets worse: they didn't replace parts they were paid to replace, and they caused additional damage--likely when they forced on those cheap Barkbusters. When I pointed it out, they blamed shipping. The explanation didn't make sense: the bike was secured only by the wheels, with no sign of external impact. They also repeatedly assured me that the original damage from the accident had been fixed--but it hadn't. They were 100% sure they'd replaced the part. They were wrong. Eventually, they said they'd send a replacement--even though the part is only sold in sets. Months later, I still haven't received anything. After chasing them with unanswered emails and calls, I finally got the owner on the phone. He was rude, dismissive, and belittling. He told me I was overreacting about a "$15 difference"--even though it was over $50. It's not about the money--it's about accountability. They caused the damage and lied about it. Then he asked me what kind of "compromise" I wanted--as if I was asking for more than the bare minimum. Why should I compromise when they messed up? Classic gaslighting. He claimed he mailed a check. Let's see if it ever shows up--especially after this review. That's the kind of people you're dealing with here. I had a cross-country move to manage and no time to keep chasing them. I gave them every opportunity to make it right. They didn't. BMG Powersports is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and borderline negligent. If you value your bike, your time, or your sanity--go somewhere else. read more

First I would like to say that 2 stars doesn't mean bad, it means "could have been better." I went in and felt for the first time ever in a motorcycle shop, I didn't belong there. The shop was clean and well organized. I didn't stay very long because I felt out of place. read more

I would give it a zero but that wasn't an option. I asked them to pick up a motorcycle for me. I have three emails asking for an estimate they picked it up in June of last year. I was called a couple weeks ago telling me to pick it up With all the things that they had to do to it mortified because I was already told that the book value of the bike was $2000 I had told him many times I didn't want to get it fixed if it wasn't worth it because I had someone to take it for $1000 as it is Apparently without signature, without permission and no verbal go ahead at all!, he continued with the repairs and nine months later hit me up with a bill for $2300 and telling me if it's not picked up by Friday it'll be $125 a day for storage after they had my bike for nine months, after I sent several emails with no response asking for an "estimate"for repairs" and now I'm faced with picking it up so I don't pay storage! I'm writing a check and then canceling it or taking him to court which I'll probably do all! he has no stand on this. He actually offered to call me to offer a resolution and then I guess took it back. I would never recommend doing business here again I actually bought a scooter from him two years ago. They don't respond to emails or phone calls and then they go ahead and fix the bike that's not even worth the repairs and then says it's my problem that the bike is not worth that much, an honest mechanic would tell you it wouldn't be worth it to fix it as I've been told different times with cars because the repairs would cost more than the car. Our experience with Brendan was extremely horrible. We ordered a quad with a plow (that he recommended) and gave him a deposit. After two months of lack of communication and him never being in the shop when we would go in to ask the status of our order, the quad came in with the wrong plow. Brendan had to order the correct plow but there was some confusion as to who had to pay for the mistake. When I called him to clarify this he was very rude. During the conversation he told me he had no time for this and I could either take the quad or get my deposit back. He stated to me "I don't know if you know what's going on in the world but things change day to day". He was totally disrespectful, unreliable and obnoxious. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I did request and got my deposit back. We purchased a quad from Rusty Palmer in PA. It was in stock so there was no wait time. We saved money and no stress and they were a pleasure to deal with. read more

I was interested in purchasing a 2022 Royal Enfield so I called this dealer and asked them if they would take my bike in as a trade. The person who answered the phone took down all my information and told me the owner was out on an errand and that he would call be back when he returned. I never heard from him so I purchased a bike at a different RE dealer. I called back to schedule a 300 mile service and to inquire about possibly lowering my susp. I was told the serv. dept. was with a customer and that he would call me back. AGAIN, no return call. Apparently these people are not interested in any new business. Came here last year for an inspection and they were great to deal with. Needed tires for my wife's Sportster and I called them on Saturday morning. They had to check stock and called me back in 10 minutes. Made an appointment for 2 hours later (1pm). Took a little while as they were still working on a previous appointment. Also had her inspection done along with my bike and my son. Although they did say they try to avoid Saturday inspections. And Gene is the best! Loves what he is doing and fun to talk to. Would have taken MUCH longer to get an appointment at Moroney's. We will be back for sure! read more

I needed 2 tires mounted and an inspection. Waited a week for an appointment. I Then waited another 4 days while they mounted the tires. They did the work. The tires hold air, and they didn't drop my bike- so that's good. I was charged 208 dollars for the service and they stuck the inspection sticker on the bodywork, not the forks. My Buddy Gene, who used to work at Rockwell Cycles moved to BMG and has been a great help to me. I have a 2005 Triumph Tiger that I've been keeping around and I pick Gene's brain every now and then because he has so much knowledge from when he used to wrench the 955i models, of which I own three. I visited this shop on a nice day in October for a 60 mile ride from Yonkers to Goshen. Gene introduced me to the head Tech, Paul who remapped the Tiger and pointed out some leaking air that was most likely causing some of my backfire burbles. Anyway these guys are pros, and they have a great attitude towards whatever vehicle you happen to be passionate about. Let me not forget to mention that they carry Moto Guzzi, Aprillia and Triumph, and their selection is "sick" they had some models with some real nice paint. New T120s, Bobbers and Scramblers. Had my Harley seeviced and looked at cause it was getting power but not starting. The bike was picked on a Thursday. I was told I would get it back early next week. By the next friday I called and was told it would be ready by saturday. I didnt get a call a back till the following firday saying my bike was finally ready. So over two weeks it took for them to get to my bike. Which is fine but why then tell me a few days. Then I have to call and you say one more day which actually turns into another week. When I finally picked it and got it home I noticed the bike had a funny idle. I asked for the bike to be fixed and serviced. Maybe I'm crazy but any other place I used always gave me the bike back 100% road ready. Apparently you have cover all your bases with this company. Call me crazy but I would think while they were fixing and then servicing the bike someone might notice the idle issue and call to point it out and say hey you want us to fix that also? Sorry but to me that's poor attention to detail, you dont know your job or your trying to make your customers spend more money by having to come in again. The time frame issue alone should have been enough in my view for them to say jsut bring it back and well make it right. Or how about you missed it after your told to service the bike and fix it. Apparently you have to break things down like a your talking to little kids with these people. Worst experience I ever had when it came to getting something fixed. It's so great to find a full service Triumph dealer. I took my bike in for a full service and they went over all the issues and explained what was needed. I ended up getting tires, fluids and tune up. They were very thorough and pricing was fair. read more

My first "visit" impressions. The first time I stopped by I was getting my Tundra serviced down the road at Johnston's. I am into motorcycles (i currently have 7, 19 years riding) and stopped by. I walked in with shorts and sneakers (not dressed like your typical biker). The main guy or salesman couldn't be bothered with me or any inquires.....guess I looked like your average obese spectator. I asked a few questions and he didn't even raise his head from his computer screen and I left cursing myself for wasting my time. I emailed and called 1-2 months later about getting one of my bikes inspected since they were the closest bike shop. They asked me what year, make and model (2001 kawasaki klr 650). When they figured out I did not buy my bike there again they did not return my emails and seemed less than enthusiastic about taking my business over the phone. Enjoy it while it lasts. You are not bikers, you are posers that pretend to have the biker bond to sell bikes. Ever if I was not a biker you should have showed more enthusiasm and asked me more questions if I was a new rider and how could you be of assistance. My son and i went to BMG to buy his first scooter. Gene, Mike and Brandon were patient, knowledgeable, and were able to outfit my son with the bike he wanted, proper helmet, and a protective cover. Financial plans were explained and arrangements were made that same day. I felt that they all had his best interest and safety in mind and I left feeling as confident as a mother could feel! I can't say enough about how great Gene (in Service Dept.?) was recently. I'm THAT guy who loses his Scrambler keys and due to a move, can't find the other set. Gene worked with UK home office to get another set, but I knew it would take forever. I elected to remove the ignition and take to a local locksmith. Mind you, I never set foot in BMG and never paid a dime to the shop. Gene must have taken five of my calls over a week and walked me through the options and exactly how to remove the ignition (not a gearhead here, but learning). Terrific customer service. This is a long overdue review. I own a business that is fueled by reviews, so it's pretty irresponsible of me to have waited 2 years to do this. The fact is, Brendan - and the rest of the crew of at BMG - are nothing short of awesome. They have helped me out in situations where they had no obligation, and they are always willing and able to happily accommodate my needs. BMG is what a respectable american business should be. I don't like doing negative reviews but in this case i have no choice. This is one of the most inept and shady dealerships that i have ever experienced. Purchased my new RSV4 rf in Jan. From the start there were issues, saw the bike in showroom not a scratch, secured the loan went in to finalize paperwork and realized that the bike had large scratch on the tank and left side handlebar - not a word was mentioned. Brandon took off dollars on the price and i moved on. Two months into owning the bike it just shut down on the road while riding, my friends and i were able to get the seat off and realized that the battery terminal had literally broke on the non oem battery. Went to the dealer, spoke with Gene and Brandon as usual was no where to be found and could not make a decision on what to do about the battery, they had no battery in stock and had to locate and purchase a battery out of my pocket. When my 600 miles were realized i took the bike in for first service and it set for a week, went to pick up the bike for a scheduled ride out of town and was told to bring it back on the following tuesday. Took the bike in when requested and needless to say it set again for another week. Shortly after first service i trailered the bike to our annual Tennessee riding trip and all was fine for the week of riding. Shortly after returning the bike appeared to be running kind of rough at low rpm with about 3200 miles on it with no signs of leaks on garage floor. I checked the dipstick and notice that the oil level was barely registering at all. I went in to speak with Gene and purchase oil as i hadn't seen any leaks, after pulling plastics i noticed oil on my radiator and caked on hoses behind the radiator and decided that this was not normal. Assuming that this being a new bike i had an issue that needed to be addressed i went in to speak to Gene again since Brandon is never around when there are issues and decisions to be made. I made arrangements and took the bike in for evaluation by the dealership. I get a call from Brandon today indicating that there was no oil issue and that it appears the oil splashes were from a lose dipstick and that i have a bill of 221.00. Keep in mind that the only time i pulled or touch the dipstick was after i had the problem and the only other time was at first service and i put about 2600 miles on it after that service. I love the bike but needless to say i can't continue with ownership of this thing as this is the only dealership around and i seem to be coming out of my pocket for things that i should not have to after purchasing a new bike.
