First they quoted us a price and pushed us to get this order in before the price went up by 10% on 12/3/2021. We did this and at the end of the project, we were billed an additional $496.80. We dealt with Peter @ BMC and were treated rudely and unprofessionally. I called Peter several times to inquire about this additional charge, and he told me that he would look into this price difference. He never got back to us and he would not return my phone calls. When the cabinets arrived, BMC only sent one (not young) man to deliver them even though there were many large boxes and two flights of stairs. Our contractor ended up helping with this delivery! When the cabinets were installed, the BMC crew left a mess of sawdust and bags of screws everywhere to be cleaned up. Initially, when we went in to talk with Peter about getting the cabinets, we told him the color we wanted in the kitchen. He was not helpful at all in directing us to the color we wanted and when the cabinets were installed, we had to have them repainted to get the color we wanted for an additional $2,190. I had some small outbuilding roofing and interior wall corrugated projects. I gave the salesperson a small drawing with dimensions. He put together a package of all the different types of flashing I needed along with precut panels. The only small complaint I have is the smallest length they can cut a roofing panel is 42". For interior walls corrugated wainscoting height is usually 36". Small outbuilding roofs (pump shed) can also be smaller. Seems a company this large and professional should be able to do that.

well it's finally happened, after 7 years of going to Resource for those unique and hard to find…read moreitems, everything from screws, brackets, plumbing & electrical, lumber and an odd window now and then I'll never be back. For the last couple of years I went from bringing friends & family to the store, we all would have a blast btw, to coming in maybe once a month. The pricing has been increased to new in box amounts and it seems most of the help hate being there, without a Hi or thank yous. I wasn't looking for money out of the till, I wanted to return a few items I bought 2 days ago, there was a very good chance I was going to use that refund to get other items. Instead the store refused the $20 return and in so doing lost out on $60 to $70 I would have spent and even worse, the thousands I would have spent over the next 10 years. Yes I said thousands, because that is what I have spent these past 7 years.

Each time I come here I seem to dislike it even more. One of the things I dislike most about it is that it is really hard to find an employee, and I am talking about every department. For example, when I walk into The Home Depot, I am almost always greeted with a smile and a "Hello." Within the first minute or two of being in The Home Depot, I can usually spot at least 10 employees. Lowe's on the other hand, I can spend 20 minutes in there and am lucky if I see 10 employees. The whole store just lacks that friendly and helpful vibe, not to mention their prices are a bit higher than those of The Home Depot. As far as selection, it really just depends which department you are in. They do offer Craftsman tools which the other home improvement stores do not. The store is always clean and well kept, which gave them 3 stars instead of two.
