She used Dermalogica products. Throughout the entire experience, there is relaxing spa music played and the lights are off. There is also a steamer blowing in your face (but it didn't get to the point where it was uncomfortable or annoying). Throughout the facial, she would wrap my face in a hot towel then leave and come back and/or massage the neck, arms, and hands. I had such a relaxing and soothing experience.

I've only utilized Lauryn for facials here, but she is great! Everyone is so nice & friendly here…read more There's a hair salon in front and a facial room in back. The facial room is private and dimly lit. There's relaxing music playing and the table is comfortable. Lauryn is gentle and kind and makes it very easy to relax! She always explains what she is doing before she does it. She also does skin tests & asks about allergies. She uses natural products that she's tested and knows what shes talking about. I've been to her 3 times so far for facials & dermaplaning and its really helped my skin. as I've began aging my skin isn't as clear/smooth as it used to be & the dermaplaning has been noticefully beneficial. Prices are on-point and make getting regular facials affordable. I am extremely grateful for that. A couple years ago i got a facial from a highly recommended (& expensive) woman in downtown Ann Arbor.... not only are Lauryn's prices affordable, but she did a way better job! Skills & precision are on-point. Lastly, they have an awesome, detailed website that you can read descriptions for services & also book online. I truly love coming here & I look forward to future visits. Thank you so much to these ladies for opening up such a nice place! True gem!

I had an appointment scheduled with Shai. She was very communicative during the booking process,…read moreand I even spoke with her on the phone three days before my appointment to confirm everything and ask a few questions about the service. I arrived five minutes early, rang the intercom as instructed, and received no response. I waited a few minutes past my appointment time, then tried again. I also called, texted, and left a voicemail using the same number we had been communicating through. Because I had driven a long distance for this facial, I waited for another 40 minutes, hoping to hear back. Unfortunately, I never received a response, follow-up, or even an apology. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. Being completely stood up without any communication or acknowledgment is unacceptable. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here.

Lash Extensions by Annette - the Holy Grail of Reviews!…read more I knew of Annette because my hairdresser has a Sola Salon, so I picked her because 1) convenience, and; 2) because my hairdresser highly recommended her. I was traveling to Hawaii on Wed, Feb 16, and had my extensions done on Fri, 11th. She was quick yet thorough - I was completely relaxed and felt at ease immediately. I've had lashes done before, and I was on the fence about doing it again, but I LOVED these lashes! I was over the moon with her artistry! So, for the Holy Grail part of the review - Friday the 18th (one full week later!) we took a door-less helicopter ride around Oahu. We were told we'd be in Category 4 hurricane type wind for a whole hour. I panicked - figured my lashes were goners, even with my sunglasses! Well, if I lost even ONE lash, you'd never know! Her lashes defy hurricanes! :-) As the following week went on, I might have lost one or two here and there, but you'd never know it - even today (2 & 1/2 weeks later), they still look really good! I'm due to see her tomorrow for a fill. I HIGHLY recommend Annette - she's a sweetheart with a load of talent! I'll be trusting her with microblading my brows next. :-)

Before her, I had no idea lash extensions could be comfortable! The glue and lashes that she uses don't irritate or burn at all; which is what I used to experience. Mackenzie is very professional and her work is impeccable. I generally get fills every 2 weeks but I could go 3 weeks. The shop is nice. I love the private rooms with the reclining chairs as opposed to a table. Much more comfortable! They make it very easy to schedule appointments; I generally schedule with the receptionist as I am paying. But if I have to reschedule, you can do so in their app and it's no frills. I love it. My appointments are generally 45-60 minutes and I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment to start.

I had Alana do my brows, she's very thorough, explains everything, she does not get offended if you want to change color or shape etc. in fact she keeps checking with you throughout the process and gives you options while also offering her opinion. After the numbing cream takes effect I felt like the procedure was virtually painless. Mostly feels like a cat scratching you. I love the end result and had a great experience. I definitely would recommend Alana and 3D brow (I seen a couple other girls leaving that had different girls do their brows and every one I seen looked great).
