I was scheduled for a Devacut with Tiffany! She was informative and helpful without putting any pressure on me to make any purchases. She told me that the she cuts my hair based on my curl pattern, and while I was a little skeptical at first, I can say with complete confidence that this is the best haircut I've ever had for my curls! The cut itself is so cute and it compliments my curl pattern flawlessly. The devacut is a little on the pricey side at $60, but it's absolutely worth it. Curly girl here! Just got back from my first Deva Cut with Samantha, and I can't stop looking at my hair in the mirror. I've never had a better cut! It's perfectly layered, bouncy, and has awesome structure/definition. The curls cascade and move individually instead of turning into a dense curtain that moves like a chunk. I've had a curl cut in the past-- Ouidad style-- and it didn't revive my hair anywhere near the way Samantha's Deva cut has. I cannot recommend Blush enough! read more

I was so scared about getting eyelash extensions in KG because of how easily they can be messed up and cause eye infections and a lot of other issues depending on the type of follicle and hair you have (brittle eyelashes etc....) I went to Blush twice. Lauren the owner greeted me, and was super friendly and welcoming. I got an incredible haircut from the lead stylist. She did exactly what I wanted, and was very patient and understanding, as I was not great at communicating what I wanted. She also did an outstanding job cutting both of my sons hair. On my second visit I saw Samantha for a facial. Oh My Gosh! Their spa room is beyond relaxing. Sam made sure that I was completely comfortable. The facial was phenomenal. Sam made sure that everything was perfect throughout the entire time, and she spent more time focusing on my problem areas like I requested. This place absolutely beats the other salons in KG in all aspects. I am very disappointed. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I was very excited to get a perm at Blush. I called and the receptionist scheduled me for Saturday at noon. Parking was easy but since it was my first time there I expected to at least be greeted as I entered the building. Nothing, so I sat down and waited. Finally the beautician I was scheduled with asked me my name and sat me in her chair. Long story short, the poor girl was so over booked and her attention was on her "regular customers" - her words. I left disappointed, she didn't have time to style my hair because another of her regulars had come and had been waiting. I have gotten both a diva cut and a diva cut trim here and it is my favorite haircut I've ever gotten. Clients are treated like old acquaintances being caught up with over coffee and I haven't heard the employees say a negative thing about a client after they've left. My stylist, Alea, did a great job of explaining what she was doing as she worked and didn't push me to buy any products or services that I didn't express interest in. When I was interested in something, she would give advice not just based on price point, but based on would get me the result I wanted. During my trim, a trainee in the diva program washed my hair (I want to say her name was Becky but I'm not sure). She did well, was super sweet, and just seemed happy to be there. After 20 years of cold, industrial-feeling haircutteries and stylists who did not listen or know how to work with my hair type, Blush Salon is a real breath of fresh air. Even if you aren't looking for a curly cut, the environment alone is enough to make you want to become a regular here. read more

I can't express how much I love this salon! The owner and the stylists are amazing people with the best southern hospitality I've seen in years, and coming from a southern family that says a lot. After talking to the owner and my stylist (Alea) for five minutes I felt like I had known them forever. I went in terrified of cutting my hair because it grows so slow (3 inches in a year and a half while taking vitamins and doing conditioning treatments and never using hot tools to be exact) and they all worked around what I wanted and didn't force me or even try to talk me into anything I didn't want and explained everything thoroughly as she was working. They do everything here and I plan to go back and start getting eyelash extensions with the owners daughter (who has the best prices around this whole area) and I'm going back to get highlights because they did so awesome on my friend and her hair is beautiful. I wish I could give them 11 stars but I guess 5 will have to do for now‍ read more
