I came to this lounge on Sunday for my sisters bday! First of all the service was soo slow they take forever to bring hookahs or smoothies! And they charged us $25 for cake cutting and putting a happy bday song which is so weird! No restaurants do that especially that they play songs all the time! Honestly the best hookah lounge my husband and I have been to in Socal. Coming from the bay area hearing many great things about this lounge and now we know what the hype is all about. The owner was super nice and welcoming and the service was on point. They have a cafe you can order food/desserts from and they bring it to you while you're smoking. We were a table of four, a friend stopped by to say hello and grab a quick bite ( she was there for less than 15 mins) and they quickly changed the gratuity from 5 people to 6. Awesome customer service!! These guys know how to take care of you. Bader and Dreez went out of their way to make sure we stayed warm outside in these cold conditions to accommodate our party of 8. Bader actually left to fill up the propane tank so we had a fire pit to use outside! And they constantly checked on us if we needed anything! They charged an unauthorized surcharge. We asked for refund on that since we didn't know, the asian woman (she said her name is Susana? ) she would not refund it. She said come back tomorrow when owner is here. We said we cannot come back tomorrow. None of the tables ordered like we did that night. We ordered food, drinks, hooka, everything. We spent good amount for two people, and she told us to never come back here if she refunds the surcharge! I told her not talk like that to us and she needs to stop her attitude. she said since you just told me that, I'm not gonna refund it to you anymore, but i was gonna refund but not anymore. She told us to get out and never come back. Anyways it turned into a scene. She said go talk to a lawyer. I said my sister (who was with me at the time) is a lawyer. Some other guy got into the scene and he ended up giving our refund cash out of his pocket (he said he knows these people not sure who he was)... Anyways, horrible customer service. We spent money here to have a good time. I have brought tons of people here before who had no idea bout blufig. I was one of the early customers when they first opened years ago and i introduced this place to many of my friends. This is sad. This asian woman is a sad story. She has no skill in customer service and she is just not a nice person. We did nothing but bring you business and your job is to make sure we are having a good time in return. So she said don't ever come here, for absolutely no reason. And I wont go back, but i would like a to know a good reason for it. So sad. We had a good night until we encountered her. Amazing service, excellent food, friendly employees, and great vibe. I started coming to blufig about 2 years ago and a lot of people I hang with now are people I met at fig. It's such an amazing vibe that all customers are socializing and meeting new people. Employees are fast at their service and on point with their recommendations. Great tea and delicious gelato. Paninis are out of this world and always free. Music varies from hip hop to RDM with mix of old school and new school. Menu is up to date with only a few new products that recently added. Love the art work on the wall in both the kitchen area and hookah lounge. Friendly owners (family ran business) and take all recommendations and suggestions into consideration. Arya is very friendly, kind, and social. Never a doll moment at fig. Love their DJ nights and celebration days. Great place for everyone! read more

Wow this place is great! Different than your regular hookah bar. Very upscale and nice ambiance. The night I went, the DJ played an amazing mix of both Arabic and English music. The service was speedy even though the place was packed. Our waiter was also super friendly. Even shook my hand and introduced himself at first. I tried the nicotine and tobacco free hookah. I smoke hookah at least 1-2 times a month, but it sometimes makes me nauseous. I smoked the nicotine tobacco free hookah for hours and never felt an upset stomach once. Worst service I have ever seen. Bashar is defiantly the worst manager. A friend stopped by for 10 mins ate a falafel sandwich and was charged $30 (yes, just a falafel sandwich nothing else). Came to Blu Fig randomly the other night. I was so surprised how beautiful it was inside. The hookah was great. They had options for different types of tea (including sadaf). The costumer service is exceptional. Great Hookah, clean high end decor, very comfortable. They take reservations. The food was delivered quick. Currently they don't have a beer and wine license, however by 10/30 the owner says they will have it up and running with alcohol as well. Best hookah I have had in California, atmosphere is very nice, staff is super friendly and attentive. I am a hookah connoisseur and I ordered their special mix but in their regular hookah. the best way to see how good and clean a hookah is to order the regular hookahs, that are used everyday. Hookah was very clean tasting, you can tell they clean their hookahs every night as well as the hoses. Hookah is a little higher priced but I feel its worth it. hopefully they can come down a little bit in the price. Surprisingly the bathroom was so clean, i have never seen a bathroom this clean in a public resturaunt before, it was like a 5 star restaurant. They have beer and wine but I hope they serve hard alcohol oneday, this would be the spot to be at, inside is like a lounge in Atlanta or LA. Definitely will be back. read more

I came here not knowing what I would expect and I have certainly been blown away! The customer service here is amazing along with the hookah! Did you ever smoke hookah and then said, "Aww man, I wish I had a panini, and actually some gelato would be so bomb right now..." Well well! Look no further folks, Blu Fig has all those things! This place is classy, modern, and chill all in one. It isn't bougie like some hookah places where it looks nice but just uncomfortable to sit in or relax--yet it is not dingy and sketchy like some "kick back" hookah bars out there. Um plus they have their own BluFig cafe next door with delicious gelato, paninis and drinks! I am kicking myself for not finding this place sooner because I would have definitely come here often! Since being pregnant and having my son a little over 2 years ago, I have not smoked hookah and even ended up selling my hookah. Today, my cousin came after work to hang out with me since my son was with my parents. So glad we found this place on Yelp. I couldn't wait to write a review haha. I am so impressed by the service here-- I honestly mean it that it has been one of the best customer service I have received at any place. My cousin and I met one of the sweetest girl named Tala. She was just exceptional and went above and beyond, high and low, to make sure we had the best experience ever. And so did the rest of the staff like Arya and others. Everyone is so genuinely nice and respectful, we felt like family. You could tell the other customers were treated the same way. The hookah is so smooth and it lasted a long time. They came around to change our coals atleast 3 times when we were there. We ordered the Fig House Special which was a cool berries + peach flavor. They have happy hour M-F 5-8 p.m. and Sat-Sun 12-5 p.m.! It just so happened that we came on one of the best deals day (Wed). For $20 you get: 1 premium hookah flavor + free apple head for the hookah + 1 gelato + 1 panini! Say whaaa? That's freaking amazing! Ok so their gelato is also amazing! The gelato and paninis are made on the other side of BluFig which is separate from the hookah side. It's good if you have kids and don't want to bring them to the hookah side. They have different flavors, usually 6 but I guess some of them alternates day to day. We sampled all 6 of them and my favs were Pistachio(tastes like real Pistachios and has some in it), Double Chocolate (rich dark chocolate), and Espresso (has some coffee beans on top and they pour some coffee on top if you like). They'll bring over your gelato and panini over to the hookah side if you'd like. The gelato takes away your light headedness lol. It was so relaxing smoking and eating gelato at the same time. I was already stuffed and the gelato just pushed me over the edge so we ordered the panini to go. It looked yummy. They were big! I didn't have a chance to try it because I made my cousin take it home since I was full but next time I will! They also have drinks such as teas, coffees, soft drinks etc. The music is great here--mostly 90's rock, rap, pop, and it took us back to reminiscing those good old days. We kept singing along (mostly me lol), and had a great time. They have big sofas and a decent amount of space. The walls and decor is urban/modern yet classy. It doesn't feel old or dark in there, plus at night they turn on these cute little lights so it looks nice. They have free Wi-Fi so don't forget to ask! I am moving to Texas next month but I will definitely stop by here as much as I can while before I leave. My parents live in Lake Forest so I will make an effort to stop by a couple more times! Finally a 5 star place that actually is 5 stars! I would give 10 stars if I could, especially for the excellent hospitality. read more

The spot is located right off the 241 Lake Forest Blvd. The vibe and ambiance is really hip, relaxing & cool. They play pop music. The service is top-notch, professional and friendly. They'll help you get set up if you've never had hookah - all kind of flavors... We went for their "mango-guava" which is pretty popular amongst patrons - in fact a customer made this one up! I came here late at night, as I work a graveyard shift in the area. I just wanted decent coffee and little did I know I was in for a nice surprise. I'm a pretty low-key individual so when I first saw the spot I was a little weary of the crowd outside smoking hookah because they were a little raucous but inside was nice and quiet, just the way I like it. Right away, I get greeted and if ever I felt at-home so quickly it was at that moment. Barista was professional, he wanted to make sure he made the coffee exactly to my liking. He invited me to pick a table, put my backpack down, relax... he asked if I the music was too loud or if I wanted to change the channel, to which I declined. The ambiance was perfect. Coffee was flavorful, rich and creamy... perfect temperature... it really did feel like home at that moment. It's a bit of a drive from home for me, but I can rest assured knowing that I have a little spot if I'm down in SoCo. read more
