Sounded like a gocart track not a campground. . So much for peace and quiet . And no phone service and Internet sucks. Is crazy. Only hot spot is in the snack bar while you are in having a 10 dollar cheese burger. We won't be back. Sure the putt putt golf is free and the pools and the lake. But who can afford 80 dollars a day to rent a golf cart to drive around. .

When the real owner showed up, he told us to leave because of "illicit behavior" for being drunk. I had not had a drop of alcohol. He had the sheriffs office come out. This place is for their for seasonal campers who have no idea what camping is all about. Ruined a long planned family vacation.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the campground is and well maintained. There is a pool, a lake in the back for fishing, 2 kids parks, a mini putting area, and lots of open field. No noise from traffic, you are close to Hartford city if you need anything (just don't go to the McDonald's). Lots of other campers here that seem to have annual stays. We choose spot 108 because it was in the back and pretty secluded, no one else ended up staying at the closer sites and we had the area to ourselves. Picnic tables and firepits at the sites. They also have buddy campsites. We didn't use the wifi but it was accessible. They also have a rec area and have campsite chat nights, games, and all the fun stuff. Great place and would stay again!

Sites too close together. Site was on gravel not even a level concrete. People behind us were taking our space with their mini barn literally on our back bumper. Boyfriend Dan Ottinger booked us 2 nights here but we couldn't get their til 2nd day due to a flat tire and it was a mud pit on arrival and our site was slammed right next to neighbors both on the side and one behind us with mini barns infringing on site 41's space. Do NOT recommend this place at all especially this no privacy site. Oh and the uneducated owner lady has my boyfriend's name spelled as Otteringer on the paperwork. Such a hillbilly! Do NOT waste your $. Not worth $49/nite. Not worth 49 cents for this!

Are you kidding me?…read more 15 minutes north of Indy, right off I69. Nature! Water! Camping! Cabins! Fishing! Kayaking! Close to Deer Creek Music Center (or whatever they call it now?) But really..... the attraction is the ownership and employees. These folks actually CARE about your stay and your experience! (Such a rare commodity these days!) Can't recommend this place enough! I highly suggest a long weekend.. ("StayCation") if you are local. And if you are in town for a concert, sporting event or just a visit..... you would be hard pressed to find a better option! They got a quaint little shop to buy stuff. They got a big playground right next to some restrooms, which is good if you have little kids. That party scene just wasn't for us. The site we got was 46 literally next to the dump station, like 15 feet. I don't think many people left while we were there so it didn't have a big impact. That's also where the water is located so if we needed to fill that would have been easy to do without moving. The park is much bigger than expected with playground, game areas, mini golf, kayak rentals available, beach, etc. There wasn't much info provided during check in on these so we didn't know they were available until it was too late to use. Would have been nice to know so we could plan our days a bit better. Overall it was a great decision for us but if we weren't occupied by the concerts all weekend there wouldn't have been much in the area to do.
