I got it back and EVERYTHING was lost. They openly admitted that they screwed up. After complaining loudly they sent my laptop out for a data recovery and stated that it would just be a week or two. 8 WEEKS LATER, no laptop, the only communications were after I called them. All calls are routed to a central office, who refuse to take complaint calls and promise that someone will contact me shortly. I would NOT recommend this store or company to anyone. I am still trying to track down my computer. UPDATE: Got my laptop back after 8 weeks and NOTHING was recovered. The Sarnia store referred me to their corporate office for some type of resolution. They got back to with a insulting offer of a $250 gift card, their offer stated that since I can't prove that all my photos and documents were lost, this was all they would offer. They also stated that I was refusing to take calls from Best Buy, which was an outright lie. I have requested to talk with someone from their corporate office but I know this will never happen. They just don't care. So please don't use Best Buy, I had all my photos and documents lost, and than insulted with lies and low offer of compensation. I REGRET DEALING WITH BEST BUY AND I HOPE THIS REVEIW WILL INFLUENCE OTHER PEOPLE NOT TO USE BEST BUY!!
