On this day we had the pleasure of working with Dana Drake. She was super friendly and helpful. It was clear to me that this shop is all about their passion and they are willing to share all that they know/do with all who want to learn. I also got to see my first ever SHARK KITTY (see photo). I am excited that Dana gave both my sister and I a really cool Sea Shanty sticker. Mine is already on my car and I am sure I will smile ear-to-ear every time I see it. This is a really neat shop. I haven't been SCUBA diving in years, but leaving this shop I was thinking I may need to re-think this as I approach retirement. Divers, in general, all over the world are a very unique (eclectic) bunch of folks!

I heavily researched the Riversport site for my daughter's birthday, as we wanted to take a group to the Overholser location. Side note, we heard there are several activities kids can't do at the main downtown location. First off, the website isn't clear on what activities are where, as Riversport claims three locations: Downtown, Hefner, and Overholser. There are also inconsistencies on how much passes run in what locations. When we called the one-and-only number (main downtown location) to ask about Overholser location details (again...claimed on their website), the employee told us they knew nothing about it. We called back a second time referencing their website, and they still claimed they didn't know an Overholser location existed. Internal operations red flag #1. No clear information on the website, no help via phone. We ended up driving some ten-year-olds to the Overholser Boathouse crossing our fingers we could do some activities mentioned on the website. After digging for an address, we drove a half an hour and pulled up to the Overholser boathouse. The area was super impressive, and the boathouse was open with a few people in and out. We were excited and optimistic about the afternoon. When I approached the desk, I asked for day passes, and they said they only offer activities on the weekends (it was a Tuesday). Again - that would have been helpful to learn through their website or the two phone calls. I gave my feedback to the poor staff members who acknowledged that the main boathouse won't communicate with them, will barely acknowledge their location (clear from our phone calls), and won't fix their AC in 100-degree heat. Internal operations red flag #2. I walked away with some disappointed kids and vowed I'd advocate for those unfortunate sweaty staff members who got the brunt of my frustration. Full circle, I'm not eager to try again with Riversport and because of the red flags--I wouldn't recommend planning anything with them unless you want some major headaches.

I'm giving this pool company twice stars one because when they show up to service my pool they do a…read moregood job. Two, because they do know what they are doing. I didn't give them the three other stars because like I mentioned, when they do service your pool and that is a BIG "when they do" . It's hard to get a hold of them, they don't answer messages promptly it takes maybe a week or so for them to show up , if you have a job, you don't know if they came or not, but when you look at your invoice online you've been billed. By the time you get them to answer or come out, your pools water levels are unbalanced, pool looks green but you still owe your weekly fee. I used them because we found them online the prices were cheap. They did a good job two years ago. Then they grew as a company, more power to them, but they forget about us , with the smaller in ground pool no big deal , no extra bells and whistles type of pool, and their prices went up after COVID .

Three weeks pass and it was done so I go into the store to obtain my bike regardless if done or not. Lo and behold it was finished. They did an excellent job I'll say. The bike rides like brand new, gears change seamlessly, brakes stop the bike on a dime, and I'm coasting now. There is active fishing, playscape, pavilion and numerous Punic tables and grills. There is no overnight camping as the park closes every night. There is also no swimming allow. Worst experience EVER! Within a week and half every fish is dead including my fish I have had. I have tried multiple times to get help from wet pets and without a way back to norman all I have received is being hung up on 6 times accused of yelling even though I stayed calm and had not even raised my voice and then I was told I was speaking to the owner when in fact it was just a kid behind a telephone. If the owner is who I was speaking to then NO ONE should ever shop here because that person acted like a teenager and was an idiot too. I will NEVER do buisness here again and will NEVER recommend this store to anyone. This is ridiculous after a year of a healthy tank to spend $50 on some additional fish and loose it all due to some stores negligence. Do better Steve who owns wet pets by Steve because this Sir is what makes people QUIT shopping local!
