The water fountain at the restrooms was also turned off. So me being a nature girl and wanting my dogs to not die of heat exhaustion. I found some empty bottles in the trash and climbed down the creek to fill them up with water. If you are going to keep this park open for dogs keep the water on. It has not been anywhere close to freezing in the last week so there is no excuse. Besides my need for a hike they enjoyed the agility course. This is the closest park to my house and I'm very upset about my visit.

You have to either park a few blocks away off the street or park in one of 6 parking garages, which are anywhere from 1-4 blocks away. Even better, you can use the new OKC Streetcar and get off at the Myriad Gardens stop on the northwest side on S Hudson Ave. Basic Info: This garden is one of two specialty gardens within the Myriad Gardens 17-acre Square. The two specialty gardens were funded by the Herman and LaDonna Meinders Foundation. There were people reading, picnicking, etc. Honestly, it was a slightly chilly day, but people were enjoying the fresh air. Since the last time I was here they've put in a volleyball area. They've also put up tape so that people can't play on the playground equipment, because COVID-19 can live on playground equipment for up to 3 hours, or so it is believed. It's too bad that it takes a pandemic for people to get out to the park. It's wonderful to see the world restoring itself so quickly as people drive less and tax the world less. I heard so many more birds than normal. That's the silver lining in the pandemic.

If the city and the community don't start caring for this park it will be closed down in a matter of a year or two.
