Candy did an amazing job on my nails. However, when I was getting them done she told me I can come back anytime and she will shorten them for me as I am not used to having long nails. When I came back I got charged $10 for the nail trim and I even said I'm coming back next week to get a refill, but they still made me pay. Very disappointed because this is not how you build client relationships. They also never ask me how my day is instead talk to one another. Prices are also above average. Happy with my pedicure, I Got exactly what I was expecting for $40. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I'm especially happy when the tech carefully paints the edge of the nail which she did. The tech was well skilled and efficient. I would definitely go back. read more

Went with my sister to go get our nails done, the lady doing my sisters nails insisted she get a different colour than what she wanted and when my sister asked to change it because it was not what she wanted she was told her it was too late. The individual doing her nails also rushed through them as soon as another client came in so they were not finished properly. For my nails, they peeled off the same day that I had them done as the colour was put on too thick and had not dried yet. Needless to say I lost 55 dollars and had to go to another salon to get them redone the next day. Not happy with my first visit to Blue Sky nails and will not be returning. read more

The people who work here are very nice, but awful at their jobs.I do not know where they learned how to do pedicures and manicures, but they are terrible. They rushed through the service, my pedicure was painful! The lady ripped off my cuticles with dull nippers, cut my toe when trimming my nails, didn't know how to use the electric foot paddle (which she burnt me with). My daughter only had shellac done, it was all over her cuticles and uneven. Awful! read more

I was told by a coworker that you could get shallac nails done there for $20. So I phoned and booked an appointment and asked what the cost of shellac nails were ( just to make sure) and was told it would be $20. When I went in and told them I had an appointment they all looked confused. They seemed to have no idea I had an appointment. They took me anyway as there was only one customer there. I confirmed again the cost of the shellac nails , just to make extra sure! When I sat down I picked two colours. Once she has stripped away the previous colour I had before she tried to tell me something which I could not understand. All I could understand was the word "manicure." I had her repeat it three times before I gave up and said " OK." I even told her that all I wanted was shellac nails. Once she was done with my shellac nails I was told it was $36 because it was a "manicure." She did shallac nails on me and I could not even understand a word she spoke to me. I paid her $42 including the tip. I was dissatisfied with the service as the price I was told was not what I paid, as well that they didn't even know a had an appointment even though I booked it a day before, and I could not even understand her as she spoke with an accent. It may of been due to me picking out two colours instead of one. Ive had shellac nails done before however and paid $30 for everything and it included three different colours, nail art, and the tip as well. I will not be going again and do not recommend going to ANYONE! They certainly lie about their pricing. They don't tell you the actual cost until after!!! As well have poor service to their customers. PS, The very next day the gel polish started to chip away. I had about four the fingers that no longer had polish on them!!! read more

Awful. Pedicure doesn't match. Each foot is a different shade of red.... Nail tips are crooked, thick , uneven and don't reach the edges of my nails. Never mind the dude doesn't know how to file, thought his flipping of the file was entertaining at a station that wasn't even set up with any of the tools. And the cherry on the cake.... (yes there is more)his hands and nails were DIRTY. NEVER AGAIN. And I will let others know to not bother either. Still looking for my "forever nail home".... read more

The service was mediocre. I asked for shellac polish, and the man did not shape or clean up my cuticles. Also he didn't apply the polish nice at all, and I ended up with a very thick polish. Definitely will not return again. read more

I went to the 50th street location in Beaumont and it was extremely disappointing. I had been getting my nails done for years and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Unfortunately this one takes the cake. My nail lady was impatient with me while i was selecting a color and when mentioning I like these two color numbers, she just went ahead and picked out for me. the most mortifying part of my visit was the dishes she used to hold the materials (powders, liquids, etc) were so dirty! There was grim covering the sides of each bowl, some of the grim formed thick layers that looked yellowish-brown (not hygienic at all). she also didn't use a new file or buffer with me. you could tell the file was old and had been used before but, the buffer was practically falling apart. The edges of the buffer were all crumbled and exposed. Also the dremel attachments were not cleaned properly. upon arrival i assumed that they were cleaned prior to my nail appointment but, after using the attachments on my nails she dusted them off a bit and put them back in the container with the rest of the attachments. after seeing that i realized those attachments she used with me were probably not cleaned before hand.I was soo disgusted, and worry about fungal infections. When finished I wished to speak with a manager and instead she raised her voice at me and refused to give me the managers phone number. The scene she caused was embarrassing and unprofessional. I will not be returning to this posh nails and spa due to lack of professionalism and sanitary reasons. I really hope to speak with the manager/owner about my unpleasant visit here. read more
