We went in the next day, The gallery was very welcoming, very clean and all of the artists were so friendly. Jacki was great to work with. She explained the process to us step by step (first time for both of us). She was so professional yet she made the whole experience fun. She constantly made sure that we were comfortable. Yesterday I had one of the best tattoo experiences I've ever had...and this will be my 18th tattoo!!! Haydn was my artist and lemme tell ya, I felt safe, calm, and like we had known eachother in another life! I came in for my appointment and she had drawn up her version of the cicada I wanted. she was very accommodating and understanding, and asked me many times if I wanted to change anything up, if I liked it, and was open to all feedback. she switched some things up on the spot for me, and asked me if I liked the changes every time before continuing. even down to the position on my arm :) she then invited me to play any music I liked, and introduced me to some new music that I really love! she held space for me, checked in to see if I needed anything during the process, and I honestly felt so happy and calm that I barely felt a pinch. I am in love with my new buggo and would suggest Haydn to anyone looking to have an amazing tattoo experience with a talented and creative human!! 10/10 betta believe I'm coming back!!! read more

Very unprofessional place tried to message a Hayden there about getting some designs done and she was super rude and uncooperative. Can't ask questions or she'll cancel on you. The screenshots are out of order but I will definitely never do any business with the shop again and this was my first attempt to do so driving an hour away. I understand having principles but at least work with folk then? In the sense of adapting someone else's artwork to her own form or being more transparent from the beginning when I had sent pics the day prior. She was being rude and honestly won't be able to grow a stable clientele by not being clear with customers. I was just asking questions as a first responder who works literally every day. read more

Long version: My friend & I went to Blueprint Gallery after it was highly recommended by many of my friends & online reviewers! I initially met with Tim (the owner) for a free consult to chat with him about the tattoo that my friend & I both wanted to get. It's the logo from an event that means a great deal to us so getting our tattoos done together to honor that was really special. Tim took his time chatting with me & gave me some great insights (example: adding an outline to the logo so that the colors wouldn't fade.) He also told me approximately how long each tattoo would take to complete & how much it would cost & then worked with our schedule to get us in as soon as possible. He recommended Rick as our tattoo artist & I'm so glad that he did. Rick was calm & great at explaining what was happening & why (which is helpful for an anxious person like myself & for a tattoo newbie like my friend.) Rick was gentle & checked in periodically to make sure I was okay or to ask if I needed a break. (I was okay & I didn't need a break but I still love that he asked.) The tattoo itself is located on my left forearm, right underneath my wrist. I'd heard rumors that this is one of the most painful spots to get a tattoo. I won't say it didn't hurt but it was completely bearable pain. I chatted with Rick & my friend the whole time. I absolutely love the finished product so far but Rick said that if I notice anything that I want touched up after it heals, he'll do that free of charge. The shop is clean, the music they have playing is awesome, & there are seriously talented folks working there who not only know & love what they're doing, they also know how to make customers feel comfortable. Vinnie was incredible, very talented! Drew up designs and worked with us on edits to ensure we loved them! So friendly and just made the whole experience relaxing. It's always nice to see an open, clean space but it's also just a very cool vibe in there. An ex of mine went to Ben for all of his work so I went with him one day and decided immediately I wanted Ben to do my arm piece. Beyond being an amazing artist and being really collaborative with me, I had a genuine good time with him. He's very easy to talk to, which is half the battle in finding a good tattoo artist. I had three decently long sessions and I enjoyed every single minute of them. He showed me sick bands I've never heard of and talked about anything and everything, when the conversation wasn't flowing he'd just give me his iPad and I'd just online shop or go on reddit A lot of tattoo artists can't talk and work that's another thing, if you find somebody who's down to talk about Skyrim and Harry Potter(he does amazing HP Tats) etc., they stop the gun every two seconds to talk to you, so even if they're chill you have to keep your mouth shut so you get the tattoo done in a decent time. Ive gone with so many friends to get tattoos done elsewhere and the artists MILKS the clock so bad, Ben is always actually trying to get as much done as possible in the time that he has and he SLAYS it, I plan on going back soon for my next piece and I'm so confident it's gunna be the best yet read more

Tim Brewer is not only an incredibly talented artist, he also has a winning personality. His 'bedside manor' is super chill. He designed my tattoo freehand on site and it is GORGEOUS. I wanted to cover up a terrible old tattoo, and I simply let Tim do what he thinks is best... which worked out. I'm sure if you came in with your own design he'd replicate it faithfully, but I recommend letting him do what he does best and just go with the flow. Thanks Tim!!!!!!!!! read more
