Pricing was on point... they have some very nice statement pieces that are more pricey as you'd expect. But the non-statement pieces were very reasonably priced and exquisitely refurbished. Perfect place for home furnishings in the Buffalo area!

My mom purchased two identical rectangular…read morepillows from Room, both stenciled with the word "Buffalo" and the coordinates of the city (latitude and longitude). She gave one pillow to my dad and the other to me as Christmas gifts. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the paint used to stencil the letters and numbers on the pillow was water soluble and wiped off with a damp paper towel. It would have been impossible to wash or even spot clean the front of the pillow case without also removing the stenciling. Today, well beyond the 14-day return policy stated on the receipt, my mom and I brought the pillows back to the store to see if there was anything we could do to protect the paint on the front of the pillow case (Scotchgard wasn't going to cut it). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by an associate. We briefly explained our concern to the associate, and then without even batting an eye or even checking our receipt he apologized, stated that he was unaware of this issue, and immediately offered to exchange the pillows for other merchandise. We ended up selecting different Buffalo-themed pillows. Room offers beautiful contemporary furniture and home decor, and after spending time looking around the store and observing the quality of their merchandise, it's obvious that the faulty pillows were an anomaly and in no way typical of the products sold by Room. My mom and I were both impressed with this customer service experience and appreciate the attention we received.

While we were not able to find those, sadly, the owner (I think) and his employee went out of their way to see how they could help me. Then, a few days later, I find myself on a mission to find a certain kind of plant food. I had already checked at Home Depot while buying bird seed, but they had not had it come in for over a year and were not sure when it was coming in. I called Walmart, Loews, and two garden stores in the area too. They did not have any in stock either. On a whim I stopped in here again, asked the employee if they had it, he took me to the aisle and there it was!! I scooped up the two boxes they had. This store looks small from the outside, but it is quite large once inside. It is next to and connected to the Schuele Paint Store, more or else on the corner of Summer and Main. Rather than travel to the suburbs, I will go here first now, they are helpful, pleasant, local and easy to get to.

I got 2 Basil, 2 cilantro, 1 parsley, 1 oregano, 1 chives and 1 dill - all 5 dollars each. They also had a better deal on putting soil than Home Depot did. I have a really nice greenhouse and a wide variety of flowers and shrubs. Will definitely be coming back here!

They cost between $300-$500 each installed. Over the last several years, I've been a do it yourselfer and bought blinds from Lowe's. Those blinds are not even close to the same quality as what I got from Budget Blinds. It is amazing how much money you could spend on blinds. While it took a while to receive the blinds, the installation was done professionally, and efficiently. Even though, one blind was cut too wide, Kyle [rep] came back and promised to replace it at no charge with the correct size. [I will update my review as soon as the replacement blind is installed]. Please note, I was also referred to a store in North Buffalo/Kenmore. I called them on the phone. They weren't very nice, and I wrote them off. I happened to be driving past the store one day, and so I stopped in and spoke to someone and actually provided the measurements of my windows. I explained to the back office person who was covering for the two sales people who are at the show house, that I wanted to get another estimate. They never called me back! In the store, all the blinds that I was shown were very expensive. High-quality, But 2-4 times the price on average, of what I spent with Budget Blinds. Call Kyle. She was great.

The table and leaves were in good, but not great shape, and the edge treatment ('distressed') was not our style. We contacted Kittinger and inquired as to their willingness to refinish the table and the leaves. They offered to do this work at a very reasonable price, so I rented a trailer and brought the pieces to them from Ohio. [Ray Bialkowski, the owner, met me on a holiday weekend and gave me a tour of the factory!!!] The work was completed within four weeks and the results were amazing! Every scratch and gouge was gone, the finish looked like it just came out of the factory brand new, and the responsiveness of the entire staff was all one could ask for. If you love Kittinger furniture and have a high-value piece that you would like to restore to showroom condition - I recommend that you give Ray and his team a call!
