    *hidden fees* I am a fan of coming here for my hair…read moreappointments. I have had Janique both times. (Haircut, August 2019, and dye job Feb 2020). Janique is absolutely lovely and has done a *fantastic* job each time she works on my locks. However, this must be addressed: I made my appointment on Ulta's website, and ordered a full-foil, listed for $140, and a blowout, $40. After I was done, I was charged for a "colour correct" ($250) in addition to the $40 blowout. I have had full foils several times in my life, and have never been charged for a colour correct. I'm not opposed to paying this price for the good job done, BUT at *no point* was the increased price discussed- which is where I have the problem. What should have happened was a chat saying what I wanted was considered $110 more than what I ordered, and then confirming that this is what I want to do with this new information, considering $110 difference isn't something most people- myself included- have. In addition, I am morally opposed to paying for a blow dry if the service cannot be done without wetting my hair, especially as a haircut is $50 and includes a blow dry. There you have it. The job was excellent but I was charged $110 more than I signed up for.

    I ordered online for a curbside pickup, as I currently need a cane to walk. I acknowledged the text…read morenotification and told them I was at the store and parked at the back door. 15 minutes went by so I did the check-in again. I finally had to go into the store, on a very windy day, when the wind is so strong that it is keeping doors from closing. After carefully getting myself into the store, I tell a staff member that I have been here for over 30 minutes waiting for someone at my car. They seem to be confused and tell me that curbside pickup doesn't work and they can't turn it off. How much disregard do you have for your customers? If I knew this was going to be a problem, I might have just had it shipped. I will put Ulta on the bottom of my options, from now on, if I even shop there again. I shopped here because it was nearby and you had curbside pickup. I was wrong and so are you.
