I really appreciate their patience and willingness to bridge the language barrier. Prices here are also fantastic. It can be difficult to find/see prices on some items because of the small stickers and jam-packed shelves; finding a way to more clearly mark items would be very beneficial. Isle signs would also be very helpful to assist customers in navigating the store. I will definitely be back!

First time at this salon, I was really impressed with the gel (toes only) manicure services I…read morereceived and will be definitely going back. By far the nicest salon I've been to in the area. I appreciate the owner for realizing it's not just the quality of the nails but also the environment. The business was clean, bright, and nicely decorated. Highly recommend this place to any and everyone....even if you already have a go to salon. All this time I THOUGHT I was getting good pedicures(toe nails only), but today I actually experienced it!!! I had the most amazing pedicure (toes/nails only). A hidden gem you must experience!!! If you're looking for a high-end ambiance along with celebrity pampering, I highly recommend her services. My nail tech Danni took her time, was delicate with me. She does amazing work and knows exactly how you want your nails. I showed her a picture and she did great! She took her time and double checked with me if I was ok with the shape. Danielle is super friendly and spent a lot of time on my toes. She has VERY reasonable prices and beyond excellent quality work. The establishment is beyond gorgeous. The environment was very peaceful and appealing! It's very modern and clean. Danielle is the best nail technician I've ever had. She does things in her process that I've never seen any other technician do. She CARES & take the time to make sure you're getting what you came for. I would highly recommend anyone coming here. I'm never going to another nail shop I fell in love with the place my first time coming. Book your appointment, I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

One day I was walking along and this beautifully colored window popped out at me and I had to stop in. Kryolan- I had never heard of it but they have been around a long time. The place makes you think your in a candy store of sorts. I have visited the store on three separate occasions, there is so much to look at ( and buy) and they have a polish line too. They offer privet lessons and workshops. And D'borah the owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. I plan to put together a custom makeup kit (more so for professional use) and Kryolan is where I am going to start. Very happy to have found such a unique place in Boston

MAKE-UP: Being in the entertainment business myself, I am thrilled to discover their "HD Make-Up Line," which is specifically developed to look fabulous...even on HDTV. This cosmetic company is the official sponsor of the TV SHOW, "FACE OFF" (SYFY network), and also supply make-up to "NAKED IN VEGAS"...Yes, that is their body paint used on the show. STAFF: Kryolan makeup is 3rd generation family owned, and the staff was highly educated about their products. Definitely stop by their Back Bay Boston, and ask questions of their sales staff and make-up artist, as they have a wide variety of cosmetics for an array of applications. THE DEAL: All pigments are made from natural sources, whenever possible, and their makeup is "food grade quality." So, some *say* their products are "good enough to eat." Most Kryolan body paint actually *is* safe for skin absorption. In addition, a majority of their make-up is MADE IN THE USA!

I would read reviews saying "oh this place doesn't hurt blah" but it always would be so painful. But with Isabelle, she uses beeswax/hardware. I never used it before and I was a little nervous because she was slathering huge chunks and I thought oh gosh this is going to be awful. But it was not bad at all. All it did is make the process faster and less painful. Isabelle also explains what she's doing and why she's doing it. She's so sweet and funny which makes the process much more enjoyable. She also did a thorough job because there's nothing that's more annoying than having little hairs left behind. I normally only get waxed a couple times a year in the summer because it hurts so much, but now I can see myself coming consistently for the rest of the year. Even though the location is a bit out of the way for me, it's worth it coming all the way out here just for Isabelle.
