Following an inspection completed on September 30, 2026, CGarcia Renovation estimated the work at $1,800, stating it would require 5 to 6 workers over two days to complete all repairs before October 2. I accepted the proposal and immediately issued the requested $900 deposit. However, on September 30, no personnel arrived at the property. On October 1, a single worker arrived at approximately 9:00 AM, worked until 12:30 PM, and abandoned the job without completing the scope of work. I engaged a secondary handyman to inspect and complete the remaining repairs. The secondary contractor provided an estimate of $1,200, completed all work by himself that same day

Carlos from White Star Roofing was the first to respond and even offered to come out the same day--even though it was a Saturday! From start to finish, Carlos provided excellent communication and kept us informed every step of the way. He thoroughly inspected the roof, showed us photos of the leak we already knew about, and identified another area where squirrels had chewed through the roofing materials, potentially causing an additional leak. The repairs were completed quickly and professionally, and we're happy to report that there is no longer any water coming into our home. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the prompt response, quality of work, and attention to detail. We truly appreciate Carlos's honesty, professionalism, and commitment to customer service. If you're looking for a roofing company that is reliable, knowledgeable, responsive, and fairly priced, I highly recommend White Star Roofing!

Out of…read more3 bids, theirs was the most reasonable, plus I saw that they had a history of good reviews and had also done good work for a friend. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of installation of the siding -- Hardie board underlain by 3/4" strandboard, with sealant and painting. The precision of assembly was quite good, and a considerable improvement in strength and durability over the original siding. Likewise, the doors were installed with good precision, and they function well. I was less impressed with the finer painting of the doors. The basic contract included only exterior painting of the doors in the same color as the exterior of the house. We wanted a different colored door, plus we wanted to have the interiors of the doors painted, as well as the addition and painting of corresponding trim (doors have 2 sides). This was all coordinated directly with the project supervisor for an additional fee. This additional work was mostly completed on the final day of the project, and appeared to be a rush job. The trim was added with rough jointing, and the painting around the doors was amateurish with much overpainting of adjacent surfaces. I had to subsequently revise the painting myself to achieve an adequate quality. Overall, the work on the exterior siding and door installation was excellent, and I highly reccommend Advanced Home Exteriors for this. Finer painting about the doors was a weaker area, and I'm knocking off a star for that.
