The roads down are definitely not for everyone but I managed to hike down them just fine [and up them, once, at the cost of my lungs nearly exploding!] We got a free room upgrade because they gave us incorrect accommodations when we first checked in, a villa next to the pool with a huge balcony and a view even better than our first room which I didn't think was possible] You HAVE to have breakfast at the bar at least once. Staff was very friendly and the view was great. It's up on the island so it is hard to get anywhere (downtown, bars, beach) without a taxi or car. Side note: If you are not renting a car, bring a lot of cash for taxis. The room was not great. There were spiders in the shower when we came in. It smelt like mildew and our air condition unit made a noise the entire time. We had to turn it off to sleep because it kept waking us up. The shower was not engineered well and there would be puddles of water outside of it every time we showered. We had to use our towels to soak up the water. They also don't have a daily maid service. We had to call every day for fresh towels since we used the extras to soak up the water. When on vacation, this is not something you should have to worry about. read more

So so so happy I've discovered Bluebeards Castle. This place is a solid option for my yearly visits to St. Thomas. The rooms are affordable, clean, spacious and super convenient to get around the rest of the island. I went during off season in September and ended up paying about $99/night. The biggest draw is that there's no resort fee since the property is not on the beach. No need for a beach (you'll end up traveling to the beaches on the island anyways.) The pool is gorgeous...but it's not for children. I believe it starts at like 4 ft and drops down to 6 ft..then 10 ft. The views are absolutely stunning! Whether you were in your room or having a bite to eat by the pool..you're seeing beautiful St. Thomas mountains and ocean views. Breakfast starts at 8 am by the pool. Food was both delicious and cheap! Dishes started at $5. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. I didn't experience the Cabana restaurant, but my traveling buddies had a burger and couldn't stop talking about how bomb it was. We didn't have an opportunity to eat at their fancy Room With A View restaurant, but my mom lives on the island and claims it's one of the best restaurants in St. Thomas. Banana Tree Grill was closed for the season, there was a sign that said it would be reopened on September 28th. Now the rooms were perfection! We had 4 different groups staying with us and each room was unique in its own way. My room was very large and had a kitchenette with a stove, fridge and microwave. My bed was super comfortable and I had a table and pull out sofa too. I was on the second floor and my balcony overlooked the cruise ship port. Another group I was with had awesome views and a washer/dryer in their room. I don't think I will ever stay at a resort again! So why not 5 stars? The staff is not that great. The ladies at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and agitated. The food service at the pool was super slow as well, but that is to be expected in the islands. Give yourself a good 30 - 45 minutes for breakfast service. Can't speak for lunch, etc. The $5 happy hour is a plus as well. Despite the wishy washy service...Bluebeards is the place to stay! Good location on steep hill. Room was very clean and comfortable. Seemed newly renovated. Nice pool area and deck overlooking bay. Front desk staff satisfactory. Some areas/rooms of the resort have better views than others. Ours was a little disappointing. Outside our front door were a line of air conditioning units. Not related to hotel but for awareness is the Taxi service seems high priced. Drivers tend to be impatient and always quoting "government rates" that the driver had to think about cost or seemed to change over time. A trip from the airport to hotel (about 3.5 miles) for family of four and four bags was $48 dollars with six other people in van going to different location. A trip from resort to ferry station (about 1.25 miles) was $36 dollars. We choose to walk and the hotel staff were kind enough to drive us to grounds property line in a golf cart. read more

Loved staying here. Have not been back since the hurricane damage a few years ago, however, the location is wonderful and the staff accommodating. You don't have to stay here to enjoy the views this place offers. YOU CAN VISIT WHILE STAYING IN A BETTER RESORT. Hotel's purpose is to provide a comfortable room. I was very UNCOMFORTABLE staying in a old vintage style furniture room. It was so old 17th century style that it created a very eerie feeling in room. There was old moldy smell to the room. I did not even want to touch the old tan colored shower curtain hanging in shower so i showered with it open. Fortunately, and i was not expecting it in such a cheap place - shower head was good water pressure. Internet was offered free. However isolated location on top of the hill with no activities on site (except one tiny swimming pool in old surroundings that i would not even consider dippinh my toe in) - STAYING HERE RUINED MY VACATION. NO SAFETY OR SECURITY, locals show up at this place to attempt to SOLICIT GUESTS which for a lone female like me is terrifying. read more

The boy and I finally got to go on our honeymoon and stayed at Bluebeard's Castle. The restaurants seemed to be included within the establishment, so I'll list them here as well. Cabana Bar - 1 star (visited 9/13/14) Our first night here we decided to just stay in and this was the only place open. We were the only ones there which probably should have been a sign... The bartender took our drink orders and came back with them to take our food orders. I asked a few questions since I have some restrictions and he seemed quite displeased with having to do so much work. I was nice and said made sure to say please and thank you... The kitchen was a small are off the side of the bar, so I watch the cook make our meal over the boy's shoulder and gave him the play by play. I ordered the Tuna Ginger Tar Tar with Seaweed Salad & Flour Tortilla Chips. As the cook was making the tar tar, I saw him pull the bag of ginger out of the cooler. He took enough for my dish, then took a handful to stuff in his mouth... I was appalled! He kept making my dish without washing his hands too! The boy ordered the Philly Cheese Steak. The cook placed the bread over the meat on the grilled. As he pulled it off, some of the cheese landed on the back of his hand. When it placed the sandwich on the plate, he took the cheese off the back of his hand and put it back on the top of the sandwich. He had placed a pile of french fries on a plate, but when our meals came out the boy's plate had no fries. The bartender said they would be out in a minute as I saw the cook eating some fries. My meal came out with some kind of spicy mayo ALL over it. I asked what it was and he told us it was sriracha mayo... We let him know that I can't have spicy things and that he didn't say that there was any spicy mayo on the dish I ordered, nor did the menu state that it have it. So he took it back to have it remade (placing it where he and the cook could reach it instead of throwing it away). Meanwhile, the boy's fries didn't come out until my new plate did which was after he finished his sandwich. My tar tar was just ok. The fish was quite fatty and the seaweed salad was out of a tub. I would not suggest that anyone eat here EVER! We actually told other people at Bluebeard's to stay away from the Cabana Bar! Life's a Breeze Poolbar - 5 star (visited 5 times for brunch) We ran into a guy in the grocery store who had just moved back to the Chicago area before we left and he recommended a few places for us to go to... We had brunch by the pool which made us phat and happy! What we ate and recommend that you order: - Breakfast Burrito - Lamb Gyro - Huevos Rancheros - Meatlovers Omelet - Breakfast Sandwich - Traditional Breakfast Banana Tree Grille - This place has apparently been closed for a long time and they will tell you that they are renovating... Word is that there is a lean on it due to the previous owner not paying the bills... /shrug Room with a View - Our new friends visited this place and were displeased with it. We did not check it out due to the prices for what you got. Ok, now on to our stay... In the photos on the website they make it look like this place is on the beach... It's not. Bluebeard's Beach Club is which is for owners, but if you tell them you are staying at the castle they'll let you in to go to the beach and pool. There are also scuba lessons at the beach club every day from 12-3 PM. Check it out! Get to the beach at least! It's also by the pool! THAT is what I was expecting to see when we pulled up, so I was a little disappointed... Next, there was a multi-million dollar renovation just 3 years ago (check out link below). When we walked into our room it did not seem that way. Our bed was really old. We could feel the springs in it as we slept. The room smelled dank and like the pool was right next to us even though it was a long walk away. The map does not show you where stairs are, or where the ramps are! We found a real elevator on the fourth day in one of the buildings between ours and the pool. I about jumped outta my skin with joy! After 5 knee surgeries and my hips going next, I was over the stairs after the second day! Our flight was delayed and we were glad to find this historic place. First the good: The views are magnificent of the harbor. The hotel grounds take you back to an earlier time of vacation travel. Actually they kind of remind me of a mid 20th century sanitarium. The room was large and spacious with a balcony and a comfy bed with the most amazingly luxurious pillows! And now the bad. The service! Rude! Would it be too much to ask for a smile? Or a thank you for staying with us? Or just looking the guest in the eye when she speaks? It was like talking to a particularly disinterested robot. The other thing is the pool. Do not expect it to look like their website. It is the most basic of basic outdoor pools. There is a tiny hot tub with a view of the harbor. And I enjoyed having an overpriced, water down rum drink with my adult son while watching the twinkling lights of the harbor. So I would stay there for a one night in the Virgin Islands but not make a vacation out of this place! One more thing: they demand an additional $250 deposit that they keep if you damage the room. And don't plan on taking walks around the hotel to a restaurant or whatever because -as the staff said themselves--it is not safe. read more

Booked online and the site didn't mention the pool was closed for renovation. We arrived on site with 2 small children excited to use the pool only to be told there wasn't one available, which is unfortunate because that was the main reason we booked this hotel. We decided to cancel our reservation but the manager refused to refund almost $200 of our money even though we never set foot in a room. A decent, honorable person would have returned our money. Instead management claims the state of the pool was advertised on the site, even though I have screen shots to prove it wasn't. Staff on site was friendly, but shame on management for failing to make this right. read more

Hotels on the VI are very expensive in general, so we selected Bluebeard's because they were offering a rate of $129/night. Plus, I read more than one review about how the hotel was just up the hill from the main downtown area, so I figured that we could do a lot of walking. Pros: Large balcony with a great view Mini kitchen Large room Nice A/C Cons: - Terrible service - the folks at the front desk didn't seem to be too happy when we first came in to check in. - Sucky location - the roads in the VI are narrow, windy, and filled with drivers that drive too fast. I have no idea how anyone can walk anywhere on those roads! So even though downtown Charlotte Amalie is in walking distance, we always took a cab - which set us back a good $6-8/head, depending on where we were going (and boy, that added up too!) - Rude housekeeping - Check out time is early, at 10am. On top of that, i was not pleased when they knocked on our door at 9am to make sure that we left! the next time I visit the VI (if ever), I would definitely shell out a few extra bucks to get a hotel that has a beach. The taxi costs are ridiculous, so I literally felt trapped when I was here because I was getting tired of spending money even if I just wanted to go out. read more

Great stay!! It is a timeshare resort so you get a full kitchen which is awesome!! They only clean your room once a week, but for us it was fine. Transportation is difficult here because driving is scary, but there are always taxis on the resort. The room has an amazing view of the marina! The pool is deep too 10 feet to be exact!! Ima go straight to the point. It was my first time at this hotel. The moment I walked into the lobby there was no one in the front desk had me waiting for 20min. When I came to realize who worked the front desk they were in the front area having the time of there life joking around with the guys that work there. They were looking at me the whole time I was waiting there until I said something it's when they came. Very rude for the most part. Second thing that got me every upset was that I booked a room with a balcony so I walked up to my room and there was no balcony. So they decided to be smart pants and put 2 chair with a table in front of the room i was staying in and called it a "OPEN BALCONY" so I went back to try to fix that and once again very rude so o decided to leave it as is cause they weren't gonna ruin my vacations. Other then that very clean room. Quite place, nice views, and a big shout out to the guys that received me there every nice ppl always making sure you good. But them few lady's in the lobby can't work with customers service you can tell in there face they hating it there. read more

I'm trying to figure out all the reviews under because I had a great stay at Blue Beard Castle. The Hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport and you get best view and Charlotte Amelia which the tourist spot. Our room was nice and neat when we checked in and they only come to clean every 3 days which is perfect for me. Everything worked fine. The bathroom worked well and the room was always a cool temperature. We had a balcony over viewing the city which is a great view both at day and night. The pool area is clean and not crowded. The jacuzzi pumped warm water which is not a big deal to me. You can walk down the hill and be downtown area within 15 minutes. Not a bad walk; you just can't walk up because the hill is a killer. The 2 restaurants were great. One was fine dining and the other was comfort food. Best of both worlds. Had wings and a burger from Cabana grill(comfort food) and the New York Strip at Banana Tree (fine dining). Both meals were very great I would recommend to anybody. The staff was really friendly and always willing to help us with anything. It's not a modern hotel at all. It's historical castle and very original. I don't need a crazy fancy hotel. Don't get me wrong this isn't a luxurious hotel but it well kept and it's pretty. This resort has made significant improvements in the last 10 years. We go every year. It is our island home for 2 weeks every year. Reasonably price restaurants and bars available on site. You should rent a car if you plan on exploring the island. It is on a hill so there is a lot of steps. The view of the cruise ships and the town of Charlotte Amalie are some of the finest on island. Rooms are clean and updated. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping and maintenance are quick and friendly. Check in is improved and efficient. our third day here so far & we love it! the staff are super friendly & helpful! the lobby is beautiful! the three restaurants are awesome! they have something for each budget and style! the grounds are well kept. there seems to be plenty of parking.the pool area is awesome! there's a main pool with a waterfall, a kiddie pool and jacuzzi. if youre a run of the mill person & don't require mints on your pillow each night then this place is for you! we were also informed that the room will not be cleaned each day, which personally I appreciate because the amount of resources that's wasted on washing unused towels, etc. is crazy! the room itself was the best surprise! were on a budget and were stoked to find out it had a toaster, fridge, silverware, microwave, even untensils! they really though of everything! the bed is a California king! there's even a pull out sofa couch! we have our own balcony over looking all of the city & the habour, complete with a table & two chairs! there's a table with chairs, a bar with stools, a vanity area and the bathroom has two separate sections. the main area has a door with a sink, an underneath for storage and a huge closet then there's a door to another room that has a toilet & shower. were loving it! My best friend and i stayed 8 nights at Bluebeards just last week. For what we paid for our studio room, it was a great deal! Room was clean, spacious, great view of harbor, and safe. Restaurants on site are great! Great happy hours! The cabana bar is awesome and the bartenders there- Smitty and Jason will take care of you! The rum punch this place serves is the best i had on the island and only 6 bucks! This is by no means the Ritz Carlton, but you are also not paying 400 bucks a night. We visited the Ritz for the day and it was beautiful but very very expensive. I would highly recommend Bluebeards Castle and make sure you book New Hozirons Breakaway and do the tour of the BVI. Read this before you book your trip here!!! 1. The room we stayed in had bed bugs, which was disgusting to sleep in. 2. The rooms are very outdated and look nothing like the pictures online show. 3. The pool is very small, and is very cold. 4. Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The staff is very rude, careless and just wants to take your money. They are not accommodating at all, and will not treat you well at all. For $250 a night what should have been a great stay- was a horrific experience. 5. There is no room service/housecleaning- more of a reason to not give them a tip for my stay. So everyday we came back from the beach our floors were covered in sand. Which was awful to walk on after coming out of a fresh shower, especially at the rate they will charge you. 6. They are very greedy with their towels, and you will only get one towel each. And one beach towel. Unless you call the "housecleaning staff" that doesn't clean your room to pick up your towels the night before- plan on using a dirty towel the next day. 7. Very good view from the pool, but never a reason I would ever book here again. I would take a good staff over a good view any day. Down fall of this hotel, is your not in walking distance of anything- or beaches. Plan on paying at least $30 to get to the closest beach. 8. Save your money and book elsewhere. This is a time share disguised as a hotel. Best views on the island. Fair pricing (ran about $150/nt with fees). No daily housekeeping and early check-out (10 am). Historically significant site. Fabulous concierge, D'Reen. Nice activity schedule. Loved the twinkling hillside at night, watching ships come and go, the changing colors of the harbor, the annoying rooster crowing throughout the stay. Two of the top five 5-star restaurants on the island are located on the property. Has a Cabana Bar/Restaurant (also called the Dungeon, karaoke on Monday nites) and a reasonable Breakfast/Lunch at the Pool Bar. Must go up/down 41 steps from lobby to pool level (or elevator) so not for feint of walking-type people. Pool icy cold but refreshing. Hot tub is lukewarm and not so bubbly. Staying on a small island has its trade-offs but I would not hesitate to stay here again, for the magnificent views and eats alone. Good value. read more

We had a lot of problems with this place. Our party is in two rooms and we requested to be near each other, but ended up in totally different buildings. The toilet in our room didn't work, and they ended up having to replace the whole thing. Phone in our room didn't work and we alerted them a number of times but it was never fixed. A member of our party is in a wheelchair and this place is totally NOT wheelchair accessible. There are stairs everywhere and the wheelchair lifts are broken (my grandmother and father actually got stuck in the lift and had to have staff members lift them out, with other people looking on, it was so embarrassing). Another member of our party just had hip surgery and is basically not able to get to the room we're assigned, which is down two steep flights of stairs with no elevator. The key to our room stopped working. TV remote didn't work. They also won't give extra coffee for the coffee maker. P.S. - A member of our party has been an owner here since the 80s, and it is disappointing to see how this place has gone downhill over the years. read more

The front desk staff were rude and unpleasant in general. I asked if they have a different type of wine opener because the one in the room wasn't working properly. The person simply said "NO" with a stiff face and wouldn't even look at me. Why are they in the hospitality business if they are so hostile? The concierge was a joke. I asked whether she could help me make a reservation to Coral World, she gave a lecture about how I should follow the daily activity sheet before bothering her. She sounded like the First Lady in the White House who is overwhelmed with social parties. I ended up calling the place myself. She is the worst concierge I ever met. Any doorman in Manhattan is more helpful than she is. I stayed away for her for the rest of my stay. How funny that they are try to sell some of their timeshare units!! Why would anyone want to own piece of this unpleasant place? I would never come back or recommend it to anyone. Water was brown, jacuzzi was out of order, room cleaning was lousy and everything liked out of shape... The only positive experience was with the bartender at Banana Tree Grill. A few of coworkers who had been here suggested that I stay here and I'm glad they did. The price was very, very reasonable and it was easy to book. This isn't a "regular" hotel but rather a time-share property with rooms available. The staff is beyond friendly and are always willing to help. It's very clean and well maintained and the restaurants on the grounds are excellent. The only drawback is its location on top of a hill that looks to be walkable but it is very deceiving. However, there are always cabs within 2 or 3 minutes from the time the staff calls them. read more

I'll start by saying that staff isn't friendly at all and front desk lady yelled at me when I asked her for directions on how to get to gym. Initially when I booked this trip I was under the impression it was an all inclusive resort and come to find out nothing is included. Restaurants on site are pricey and not fancy what so ever. Def over priced. I also was under impression the beach would be very near by hotel. On the contrary I have to take a taxi to beach charging $8 per person $2 per bag and beach is 30 minutes away While in bed I get woken up by a non stop cocking of roosters. About 5 of them for hours. We have been traveling to St. Thomas for almost 30 years and have stayed at Bluebeard's Castle many, many times. We so excited when we heard that they were beginning to open the resort again so we booked our trip. The rooms in the Hilltop Villas are brand new and BEAUTIFUL! And, yes, they still have that incredible view of the downtown harbor. Unfortunately, the pool area, restaurants, and most of the rest of the resort is still under renovation BUT, if they do as good of job on the rest of the resort as they have done on the rooms, it is going to be wonderful. We are already planning our return trip in 2020 and hope most of the construction is completed by then. By the way, I must make a shout out to the manager, Ms. Silka Ritter, she was fantastic and helped us with a couple of minor issues as the resort is still working out a few kinks. read more

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful view! I really enjoyed the amenities, patio and Internet access (for a small fee). There was a nice sized kitchen with dinnerware, cooking utensils and drinking glasses, etc which made me feel right at home on my arrival. We stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a penthouse in Pirates Pension. It was simply amazing! It made our trip even better. From the balcony outside you over look the harbor (and it comes with a dining set and lounge chair on the balcony) where the some of the cruise ships dock. It is a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the resort, because it is on a hill. The Pirates pension room had a full kitchen (stocked with dishware and cooking equipment), a dining area with a dining table, a washer and dryer, huge jetted bath tub, 2 ceiling fans, A/C, 2 closets in the bedroom and a king size bed. It was the size of a one bedroom apartment. It made it nice, we were able to buy some food at the resort store (cash only, no cards accepted) and have breakfast in our room (or the balcony) and one night we cooked dinner. My only complaint was that the tub did not drain very well and the tub would fill up during a shower and the hot water lasted maybe 10 minutes if you were lucky. It was a very comfortable place to stay. It had a GREAT pool with a pool bar that served breakfast and lunch. I recommend the breakfast burrito, it leaves you full enough but not a heavy full. And the mozzarella sticks. We went to the pool almost everyday. The banana tree grille was our least favorite place to get food. We loved Room with a View. It was amazing! Pricey but oh so good. The cabana bar is a good place to get some food and drinks. We ate there twice. The fish tacos are really good and my husband liked the chicken melt. The pizza was meh and the burger wasn't the best but they weren't unedible. It is really easy to get a taxi at the resort also. If you rent a car you just pick up a parking pass from the front desk. There is also an energy fee you pay for at check in. We stayed from the 16th-23rd and we paid $84 for the total stay. Housekeeping only comes by once a week but if you need new towels you just have to call. The provided 4 sets of towels and a set of 2 beach towels, which was really helpful. Housekeeping was really good. When we got back the room smelled wonderful and our dishes were cleaned. (which I felt guilty about but found it very nice). Bluebeards is at a really good spot. Close to downtown (beware of downtown the people in the jewelry stores do not leave you alone they are high pressure and all restaurants and shops close at 5pm) and you are about 10-20 minutes from just about anywhere on the island. I just got back from Bluebeard's this past Sunday so needless to say everything is fresh in my mind. What can I say about this place? DON'T BOTHER UNLESS YOU ARE ON A MAJOR BUDGET! It's been said that you get what you pay for and this is clearly the truth with Bluebeard's. The customer service there was horrific. The front desk acted as if you were an inconvenience to them and the place was not exactly clean. The seals to the toiletries they provided in the room were actually broken and refilled by the staff! I thought this was just me but after speaking to a few other guests they too had the same issue. The place is also under renovations and should consider closing until the whole thing is complete in order to save their name. Def. not going back, but what I can say is the beaches in St. Thomas are amazing! I would also suggest renting a car as the taxis are a complete rip off (on average $10 per person). You can also go down to any of the main roads and pick up the Safari Bus for $1-$2. read more

Been coming here for years and always had a room with a view. Ladies at the front were not very nice this time. They said they were 100% booked. Yeah right. Good luck with this run down place. We won't be back. Oh and our room sells like a combo of mold and bug spray. Yum! read more

i just got back today and had a lovely time at Bluebeard's! I gave my experience 4 stars, however, i do think this hotel has some room to improve and would only consider it a 3 star hotel right now. They were working on some renovations, and it is clear that the hotel has been around for a while, but i really liked the charm of this historic property. i dont need marble columns and pristine fountains and huge chandeliers to enjoy my stay. If you are planning to get out and explore the caribbean, it shouldn't matter that much anyway! The pool was refreshing and clean, the staff was very friendly, the food was great, and the property has a fabulous view of the bay that's perfect for watching the cruise ships arrive and depart. People who are not ok with stairs should probably not stay here though. I didn't mind it because i like getting exercise without going to the gym (esp on vacation), but anyone who is not in tip-top shape will very likely have a problem with the amount of climbing involved. The property is not very handicap accesible, but i can't hold that against the hotel because it was clearly built at a time when that was not a requirement. I had a fabulous time! read more

Very old resort and not the cleanest. Had issues with roaches and a sliding door that would not shut. Roosters every morning around 4am. Lots of steps so bring proper shoes. Also check your bill when you leave for errors. The room with a view was great for happy hour! read more

Let's just say I have never had such a horrible time in my life! As soon as we got here there was a problem checking in and couldn't get our key because the system was down. I thought this would be the worst thing that could happen. What a joke! Get in the room by the master key and realize the TV isn't working. Maintenance comes and fixes; no biggie surely I assumed we would have no problems. Downhill all the way. Next problem microwave wouldn't work, no one came. Then we were experiencing problems with the AC; it was making a horrible sound and then started spitting out ice w/dirt. WTH is all I could think. We were heading out and told them and how about they never got any information about the microwave. Turns out AC was broken so we had to move to another room. Always what a person wants to do on vacation! Next new room seemed fine but of course that didn't last long. A day later I noticed our AC was at 80 and we couldn't set it. I called again no one came. The next event literally happened 1 hour later as we were preparing to go to the Safire Marina we noticed we had no running water in the bathroom! Couldn't believe it, I was able to shower because I took it hours ago but my husband didn't. He was calling me the front desk and I went down there because I had no Rez a son to believe they would respond quickly. As I walked down the maintenance guy said we are on our way. Since we are pressed for time I said when he said 20 minutes. Wasn't acceptable because we needed to be out of there to make our event. Went to the front desk and lady knew and then suggested he take a shower in the gym. What a joke and truly wasn't what I expected. My husband knowing we haven't gotten the service we expected took about a bird bath in the kitchen sink which had a low pressure. We barely made it to our event due to all the confusion; literally always what I want to deal with while on vacation. We return to address the AC since we were notified the water was running. The maintenance guy came and told us the AC starts at 80 and goes down. I informed him this hasn't happened since yesterday and his response "I don't know!" Not I'm not sure but I will find out! I'm so frustrated and tomorrow I'm going to see the manager! I filled out a comment card with my remarks and informed them I would let all know this place is the worst. Don't stay here, the staff has no clue and not worth the hassle. Bluebeard staff people come there to relax not deal with bullshit! read more

I actually stayed at Bunker Hill but my in-laws were at Bluebeard and we ended up spending a lot of time at Bluebeards because it had a nicer pool and the rooms were nicer. Would stay here myself in the future. read more
