They also had a cool water obstacle course. The pool is huge and plenty of room for the people at the private event. They offered bbq and snow cones. We had a great time at the event. We'd return if it's not crazy crowded. Bathrooms were clean enough for a pool. Limited parking

Perfect temp most of the time - none of the blue-lip agony you'll find at other pools. 2. Open swim on Tuesday nights. 3. Great swimming instructors. Here's why we don't love it: 1. Locker room is terrible. Like, really bad. We shouldn't expect much from what is basically a high school locker room, but the showers are awful (impossible to get hot water sometimes) and there are no amenities.

Shortly after moving our stuff into the Cabama the teen "manager" and another older lady who was a "manager " veryyyy rudley accused me of plotting to get the cabana and told me I have the previous family "save it". this was not true and the very loud obnoxious, older lady manager was so loud and inappropriate with what she was saying to me that almost the entire west side of the pool was watching. i explained over and over I did not know the family that just left and nothing was saved. she ended up kicking me and my special needs son out of the cabana and within minutes pulled her favorite "VIP" family from the line and saved and gave the cabana to them. we love the pool and where we live but this was a horrible interaction that I did escalate to the top manager of the pool and never heard anything back. Beware: if ur disabled their state requirement amenities are not actually working, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. We have been coming here for years but this interaction has changed our mind and hearts about returning

My kiddo went from not being able to swim at all to knowing how to rescue someone and being a total fish. The pool is always warm, even throughout the winter, so they can swim all season long. The instructors are all absolutely fantastic! If you have a little one who cannot swim, I definitely recommend this school. Also, buy the goggles. No joke, they keep them on and stop messing with them during class so they can spend more time swimming and less time fiddling with goggles.

Two of our children…read morewere enrolled until recently during a class, our 3-year old's hands slipped off the wall and he submerged. He was not able to touch the bottom and the instructor, Ashley, did not notice. He was unable to get himself to the surface to breathe. My wife and I sprinted from the viewing area to the pool, and I pulled him from the water. This all happened without Ashley noticing the terrifying situation. The class was not stopped, the severity of what just occurred was not acknowledged. Ashely did not check on our son, ask how he was doing, or discuss this with us. Our son was only one of three children in the class when this happened. Days later, the owner, Amy agreed to speak with my wife over the phone. This step was not offered, we needed to request a phone call. There was not an apology or any expression of remorse or compassion. Amy stated safety measures were reviewed with Ashley, this was their complete response to the episode. In our communication with Amy, it was obvious we were just numbers to their operation, and we were easily replaceable with their long wait lists. Please carefully watch your child while in this pool. This was a traumatic event for everyone in our family.

I've done swim lessons at various places in Loveland and the quality of the instruction at LSC surpassed everywhere else. My oldest child decided swimming wasn't their passion but he wanted to swim at the high school level. I pulled him and put him at a swim school in Windsor for awhile but was thankful we were allowed to come back and try the rec team again because the quality is unsurpassed and he feels good progressing again. If you go to the Loveland Swim Club Instagram and see the amount of kids receiving college scholarships it's actually phenomenal. It is equally impressive that there is a place for every swimmer in this program. If you like professionalism, excellence, or your kids just getting their wiggles out instead of sitting in front of screens, this is a great place to be. Loveland Swim Club's program makes the City of Loveland look good. You don't need to go to Fort Collins to find superior swim instruction.

The fitness area for weights and cardio equipment is user friendly and in good condition. Prefer to go there vs my gym as it tends to be less crowded. The facility itself is of course geared for 55+, but anyone 18+ can come in and use the facility. Staff is friendly and there are usually multiple people available to assist you. This can be a busy facility however at times so there may be a chance you do have to wait a little bit if you have a question regarding something. Coffee is free if you bring your own cup, if you need a cup there is just the small fee of $1 and you can buy a cup from the desk. So many wonderful events and opportunities that happen here. If you need to call regarding a question expect to be put on hold immediately and not addressed for 5-10 minutes. Upon entering the facility you'll be greeted by inpatient, unkind and distant staff. The staff are not trained in the majority of ongoings within city recreation, most staff rely upon their managers who they themselves are unhelpful. Speaking to a manager is a whole other issue as they're never available. The facility attendants are mostly helpful and attending to almost any issue/need you many have. The pool table area is okay however most cues, balls, etc are strewed about the area or just lost. In regards to the pool, look online before coming in because classes are scheduled and lanes may or may not be available. Speaking on the rental spaces available at the Senior Center there's nothing special or noteworthy to speak on. If you need to rent a space, don't expect a return call for 1-2 weeks. Those who come in the early morning for coffee, there is now a $1 charge for cups, so bring your own. With overall subpar staff and a underwhelming facility, I would recommend the Chilson Senior Center in Loveland.
