We were told Dr. Kim used a CO2 laser and it's less painful for baby so that was a huge selling point for us. We made an appointment and the office staff was very sweet and got us scheduled quickly. The day of our appointment we texted to check in from the parking lot and were brought back to the giraffe nursery very quickly. The room had a TV, couch, and chair. The entire office was very nice and awesome for kiddos but I loved the private room for us. The lactation consultant, Kellye was absolutely wonderful. She knew I was nervous and hugged me as soon as she came in and told me it was going to be okay. She explained everything in detail while she was looking at our daughter. Dr. Kim came in to do her assessment and was so kind and patient. I was very nervous still and she was so calming and took time to explain everything and listen to my concerns and worries. I always feel rushed at appointments but Dr. Kim never once made me feel that way. She honestly was just so kind and compassionate and I can't say how much that meant to me. Our daughter was prayed over by the lactation consultant before she took her from me and they sang to during her lip and tongue tie procedure and that just melted me. I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Kim and her staff. I truly feel blessed that we found them. I feel like we weren't just another patient and they truly cared about our daughter like she was their own child. The procedure was very quick and our daughter was gone for about 15 minutes total and they brought her right back. I'm just so thankful we found Dr. Kim and went with them. It was the best medical experience I have ever had in my 33 years of life and I wouldn't change a single thing.

I was then told the next available appt for this was not for another 6 weeks after already waiting 2 months to be scheduled for just a regular checkup. We are only here for the summer since we are expats and going back to another country and overall from making an appt to be seen up to being treated would have been a total of 3 months?? What if my daughter's cavities were hurting? We were also quoted a total of 1200 dollars for the fillings. After having no choice but to reschedule at a different dentist, we were seen in less than a week for a new patient visit and able to make an appointment for fillings for the following week. They also quoted us under 400 dollars for the treatment plan. It's a shame that the staff is so nice here but I would not recommend going here.

Lastly was not a fan of receiving 3 texts in the span of the work day including in all caps about my change in insurance and "LAST CHANCE" before canceling notice. It was dripping out of his mouth on to the chair and had smeared all over his face and hands. I asked if there is something that could be done to give him teeth as his permanent ones won't come in for many more years and was told no. Looked it up and that is false. The Dental Hygienist was very gentle, explaining every tool she was using and even let my daughter touch them before placing them in her mouth. I was told to bring my almost 2 year old in due to two bad cavities and the only option she wanted to do was extract the teeth. She said she could attempt saving them but probably couldn't. When asked what she would put in their place since she wanted to extract both front teeth she informed me "absolutely nothing". Wasn't even willing to suggest spacers to keep the teeth from rearranging. This was my daughter's front teeth and she was willing to impact her speech and cause other delays just to avoid doing the work when I was more than willing to spend the money. She sat there belittling me telling me my daughter couldn't have juice or milk to drink at all and should have absolutely nothing to drink at night no matter what. She harped every time my daughter grabbed her cup to drink while in that office. Before I left I asked her for a quote for saving them and a quote for extracting them just so I could go over my options. They informed me they would call me Tuesday as this was during the winter ice storm and I never received a call. I didn't hear back till Friday after I emailed Shantrise who informed me she thought it was sent already on Thursday night and said she would send it the following day. That's when they proceeded to send me on a wild goose chase basically. She gave me hope they could Cap them when her team sent me a quote and I verified with the employee they could do the work. I drove an hour out of my way to her Conroe location to have the work done and she informs me after she showed up late that the only thing she can do is extract them as the front desk clerk informed me minutes prior she doesn't know what she's talking about as she was just told to get a quote to Cap the teeth. I walked out that morning with the statement of "I'm not letting you pull a 2 year olds teeth without attempting to save them" and never looked back. She answered all my questions before she started any work. The Dental Assistant performed in the same way, working to remove any worries or concerns. Great Teamwork! Conroe Family Dentistry has latest new and high-tech equipment to provide the highest quality of treatment. Upper and Lower teeth were scanned using AI, so they could recreate the proper bite fit. The fitting scans were entered into a high-tech Milling machine that then went about cutting, sizing and aligning a new crown. The entire process from sitting down in the chair and out the door with a perfectly fitted and installed crown was less than 90 minutes. I was referred to Conroe Family Dentistry by a family member. I have now moved from a Dental Care Center and Dentist with a 30-year relationship to Conroe Family Dentistry.
