Gone are the stuffy banking suit headshots, Lara has made our headshots personable, authentic, and unique. I have never loved a picture more than the headshot she did for me. I'm referring to meeting Ms. Judy Goldick of Regal Realty, in Schertz, TX. I met Judy pretty much accidentally, when I was about to give up trying to buy a house after a few months of rejections (by realtors, and by loan officers). My situation was not a typical one, having extremely limited resources and hoping to finally be able to buy a house for myself, at my old age. Since the beginning, when I met Judy, I could sense something very special: a realtor who truly cared, not only about her job, but mainly about her clients. She was amazing at explaining the whole process I'd need to go through to find a house, in a way that made sense, was clear to me, and made me feel that I could actually get to the point of owning a home. Judy detailed each and every step we needed to follow, the search, managing expectations, the details of the negotiation process, strategies, and the outcomes. For the first time I had truly been given not only all of the information I needed, but I had also been treated like the intelligent man I believe I am. Judy and I embarked on a process that would take weeks to unravel, and I never felt alone, lost, or ignorant about what it was that we were doing. In other words, Judy held my hand, so to speak, throughout every minor and major step necessary to get to the next one. She guided me, advised me, counseled me, and gave me hope and strength each and every time I felt worried or anxious about anything related to the process of finding and buying a house. Judy had turned not only into my real estate agent, but also my guide, my angel. Even the day of the closing, when I knew I would make it to own my house, Judy took the time and effort to drive over 3 hours (each way) to be there for me, along with my loan officer (Evelyn Tubbs, my other angel), during the closing. Being that the house I was buying was so far away from Judy's usual area, this was nothing short of an amazing show of commitment to her excellence as a professional. What else can I say about such an amazing person, and such a caring, committed, and supportive representative of the real estate industry... the only thing I can say is that without Judy's above-and-beyond professionalism, and humanity, I might've easily given up during the house-hunting process. It was her own strength and faith in me, and her incredible support (even calling me or texting me, sometimes just to tell me that all was going well) that made it possible for me to trust the process, and her guidance.
