Stephen got in way over his head, his plumbing and tile work was extremely bad People make mistakes, things happen. It was not the mistakes that caused me to write this, it's the lack of integrity. I paid Stephen over $11,000 and had to spend an additional $12,500 to fix what he did for my customer. How someone handles a situation like this says a lot about their integrity and moral compass, it was very clear Stephen does not have integrity. Outside of this, Stephen had an employee working with him in this project. That employee showed up at my customers home asking for money. Stephen was not paying his employees. Stephen also used my electrician for a weekend project, never paid him for the time he worked.

Our family has the benefit and sometimes, the burden, of a challenging, but beautiful 2 acres in Fox Valley. We're on a hill that slopes from the front of the house off to the back corner of the property. Although we do our best to maintain the lawn, over the years, it's gone from a nice, lush lawn, to a patchwork of invasive grasses, eroded dirt patches, and has unfortunately become a mess of compounded problems. The owner, Pat, came to our property, surveyed it, and within a short visit, diagnosed all of our problems to the T. I was impressed by knowledge of the grass types, nutrients, and micro organisms (I'm not a scientist) that we needed to get things back on track. Pat took the time to explain why things worked the way they do, and his attention was so much appreciated. We have had estimates and quotes by other well known companies in the area. The usual, seed, spray, aerate, re-sod method has become a joke and it's clear after the visit by GV Farms, that the other companies were pretty much clueless as to our specific needs. Even better, Pat knew how to get our lawn back to it's optimal level without spraying crazy chemicals or using products that aren't safe for our kids or grandkids.
