My two dogs get soOoOo excited to come for daycare and boarding that they have full body waggles at the front door. They leave tired and so happy; it's like they didn't even notice I was gone!!! It's clear to me they tailor their approach to keep play safe and pups happy. I have an skiddish Aussie who will easily tell when she has a bad experience; she'll get clingy/whiny after boarding at bad kennels. The staff at Palmetto must give her extra love because they're in her inner circle and she adores them! They also make boarding and daycare easy! No scheduling necessary! Just text Tonya and she responds quickly to whatever you need. They're very affordable and don't charge fees for odd timed pick up and drop off windows or daily treats. They do what needs to be done to keep you and the dog happy and they're always available. Thank you Tonya, Madison, and all! I'm so thankful to have a found Palmetto Pet Center!

I have been a loyal client since when they small. And when the aunt was still alive. Since her passing apparently it's gone to crap. If you are worried about a 16yo dog maybe being too much you should reconsider being a groomer and at least make sure to put a muzzle on every dog. I am very disappointed in the grooming service here. My poor baby is traumatized from the experience. They did me so wrong it's not even funny. The groomer was obviously aggressive with dog and not patience at all is why she couldn't finish. I've heard horror stories about this place but always defended them. Nope not anymore, Very poor service!!! THE END....period

The owners are kind, friendly, and caring. When I took my 10 year old chocolate Lab in for a nail trim, they opted to file his nails since the quick was close to the end of his nails and they didn't want to risk any discomfort. They took the extra time and effort it takes to file nails instead of using the quick & easy clippers, putting my dog's comfort first. I decided to wash my Lab myself while I was there. The large, elevated stainless steel tubs have walk-up steps that make it easy for older dogs to get in and out and they are a real back-saver! They have an adjustable sprayer and a dispenser with an assortment of shampoos and conditioners that really make washing your dog easy. The owners gave me some tips and a scrubber that did a great job of working the shampoo into that thick water-repellant Lab coat and my dog didn't mind it at all. The owners showed me how to wash my dogs face using a blueberry facial and my dog just loved the extra attention. When you're done rinsing, they have blowers so you can blow-off extra water to help dry your dog more quickly. They also provide aprons and towels. If you need a careful, attentive dog groomer or just want to give your dog a quick bath yourself, I highly recommend Pup In A Tub.

After he was cut I was told that it was $140. When I asked why the price went up the answer was simply "because it's $140". When I showed the owner the price online ($110) she stated that "Those are old prices". I told her that's not how online prices work and you need to honor that price. Her response (unbelievably) was "The price is $140". After a back and forth I gave her $120 just to get my dog. After I left the other owner (a man) called and SCREAMED at me. During this he called me (and I quote) "A white piece of shit". And that if he had been there I would have been in trouble I never raised my voice or used profanity during the exchange and this was how I was treated. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I would like to start by saying that my first visit with this practice went very well…read more Unfortunately, my second recheck appointment was a completely different experience. I strongly caution others regarding my experience with the veterinarian, Tonisia Browne. During my appointment, she repeatedly pressured me to give my dog a rabies vaccine, even after I explained multiple times that he was not due for the vaccination until August 25. When I declined the rabies vaccine at that time, she then attempted to withhold antibiotics that had been prescribed for my dog's skin issue. I found this behavior to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate. I had already submitted all of the vaccination records I had available and was waiting for the remaining 2025 records. I am fully aware of the laws and requirements regarding rabies vaccinations, and all of my pets are up to date on their vaccinations. The office manager who was present at the time stepped in, helped de-escalate the situation, and agreed to waive the $75 visit fee for that appointment. She also ensured that I received the necessary prescription for my dog. The following day, I spoke with the primary office manager. Unfortunately, she refused to formally address my concerns, declined my request for a written apology from the veterinarian and technician involved, and refused to file a formal complaint regarding the incident. Instead, I was essentially dismissed from the practice. I explained that I had no issues with the other veterinarians or technicians I had previously worked with at this office. However, I was told that because this veterinarian worked there, it would be impossible for me to avoid seeing her in the future. I found that response to be unacceptable and further demonstrated a lack of professionalism and concern for my experience as a client. Due to the way this situation was handled, I have also reported the veterinarian to the appropriate licensing board. I hope this matter is reviewed seriously, as clients should be able to trust that their concerns will be handled respectfully and professionally, especially when it involves the care of their pets.
