About a week ago a particular employee in the store was very rude to me, I find that he usually always has an attitude when I walk in , an attitude when I ask to see multiple items, and an attitude when asked about what delta 8 strains do exactly what for you. I approached the (white male) employee who wears glasses, i usually only see him on weekends in the afternoon (because I live across the bridge, and i get home late usually around 7) , I walked in the store and he seemed to be more interested in his books then he did offering me help as I stood infront of him, right infront of the vape pens, But the other employee on duty wasted no time to greet me and come to my aid! The great young man handed me the pipe that I picked out for my husband, and I headed towards the register to finalize my purchase, As I approached the register the man with glasses seemed uninterested in me, and even let out a slight sigh when i simply asked him about how long the bridge has been out, he then proceeded to hand my receipt to me rudely and not even tell me what my total was, I had to ask! . I hope I don't have to come back and deal with that specific employee ever again! Thanks to the employee who came to my assistance! Every other employee on any other shift is amazing! The rude employee with the glasses seemed to have been on his time of the month or irritated about an issue , I don't understand why I had to be the one that was taken out on...! That should be handled away from work. read more

I should've posted this ages ago, but you know, life happens. I took my aging hippie father here to buy a new pipe and Brett was more than helpful. He was very patient with my dad, who was overwhelmed with the selection, and helped him pick out a few pieces that suited my father's personality, which was admittedly cantankerous and difficult to please. My father was thrilled with his new accessories when we left, and when he got sick, Brett helped in picking out a vape pen for him. This place is the real deal, and you should support local business, especially in a pandemic. By wearing masks and gloves, the staff made me feel secure in shopping at the store. Staff helped me find what I needed and answered all my questions. I picked up 3 separate items and all 3 were cheaper at Blue Rat than at other similar stores in the area. I definitely will be shopping here, again. read more

Just stopped by these guys last night after work. Was in need of a new e-cigarette setup and some e-juice. These fellas were informed, and helpful, and only as chatty as I wanted. Best of all, they were open late (2 am on a Saturday) and the only one in Atlanta open on Sunday at all (that I found). They even recommended some tasty juice (blue drop, think blueberry lemonade) and filled up my tank and let me try it right there. Recommend. read more

Smart people just order e-cigs online from China. They take 2 weeks to arrive and for $13, I got 5 tops and 2 batteries (+ $3.50 shipping.) At any head shop, 1 top and 1 battery will run you at least $30-40. Go to the Blue Rat if you want quality flavors for them, though. Don't worry about the ones from China being cheap or falling apart, they are the same product and the ones from the Blue Rat seem to have a tendency to fall apart anyway. Pretty cool tobacco shop on Cheshire Bridge. Vapes, pipes, and other such paraphernalia.

You can't try any flavors and the employees lack knowledge of the products. I was told a certain flavor was popular and had to fork over $10.00 to try it and it tasted awful. read more

I have been to the Blue Rat on multiple occasions and have always received friendly and helpful service. Having been to a majority of shops inside the perimeter, it is nice to go somewhere where the staff are genuinely nice and helpful, and they aren't just trying to rip you off. Not only are we always able to find really nice glass pieces at great prices, but they also have a wide assortment of sizes, colors, and glass design that is hard to find anywhere else. The staff are always incredibly helpful and prompt to greet customers, and they take great care to properly package all their products to ensure protection from breakage. They have also been very helpful at helping us locate specific items at other stores in the area if they currently do not have them in stock. I have already and will continue to recommend their store to all of my friends. read more

Ok, Blue Rat...lets not kid ourselves.....you don't sell cigars, but I understand that you need to scream "TOBACCO" when you're selling glass, and grinders, and stash boxes, etc.....but could you please at least go on these sites and take off any reference you have to selling cigars? Black N' Milds aren't really cigars....and that's the only "cigar" you sell, per your sales staff when I went in there looking for an actual cigar. I also don't like how Hookah Hookup is not even half a mile away, but your staff didn't want to direct me there, despite them actually having a humidor...which at that point, wouldn't make you competitors....because the essence of being a competitor is competing...you'd have to actually sell cigars to "compete" with other cigar stores......so please get a little more honest with your advertising and maybe when I DO need some glass, I'll come in there.....even though you don't deserve it for wasting my time. read more
