Read the reviews on Google and decided to come to the Blue Pike Grille. The entryway is not clearly marked. Confusing to know where to enter. No sign saying to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. A waitress soon came over (as I'm sure we looked confused!) and guided us towards a good seat. Beautiful view of the marina and we got there in time to see the beautiful sunset over Lake Erie. Definitely the highlight of our visit. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. She did a great job. We ordered our meals, then waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. I ordered the Herb Roasted Chicken that was supposed to come with Seasoned Smashed New Potatoes and Seasonal Grilled Veggies. My chicken was tasteless and rubbery. The potatoes turned out to be one roasted golden potato (it was wonderful!) The veggies were way overcooked, chopped tiny, and were seasoned with all the salt available in North East, PA. No joke. My husband said his Sirloin Steak meal was good, just a tiny portion.
Were were still hungry after this meal - so we went to a local pizza place and ordered food there. We still don't understand how the Blue Pike grill had a high rating. read more
