It has gotten to a point where I turn my nose up and any other option for the combination of potatoes and barramundi. Now that's good fish and chips! Although I usually indulge in the takeaway variety, Fish's is also a restaurant and has a relaxed, family atmosphere. Along with the usual fish and chips, there are burgers, seafood platters, meals, mussels, oysters, prawns and calamari also on offer. If it comes from the ocean, chances are Fish's have it! And it's as fresh as fresh can be. If you are looking for somewhere to get excellent fresh prawns for Christmas or a BBQ, theirs come highly recommended by me! As does the cajun fish. I veered away from crumbed fish a little while ago and lashed out with the cajun (a big deal considering I'm a creature of habit) and it is awesome! For reasonable prices, Fish's offer huge portions of (in my opinion) the best fish and chips in Brisbane. The wait is never long and the food is fresh and delicious. Get to Teneriffe for a taste!

Here, you will find big juicy Moreton Bay Bugs, succulent Tiger Prawns, Pacific Oysters and fresh Tasmanian Salmon most of which are sourced from Australian waters (only 10% of their produce comes from overseas). If you have a Christmas party to cater for or a backyard BBQ I would suggest ordering your seafood from Samie's Girl. Their prices are very competitive and if it swims then they probably sell it! Make sure you get in early though - they are very busy on weekends, which is a reflection of the quality of the produce they sell.
