Things eventually turned around, and I could finally sleep again.

Bob Mcrae has absolutely no idea what he is doing, and if you ask him ANY questions, he becomes extremely defensive. He only has a certificate of some sort, NO college degree whatsoever. Ugh. The returns were so BAD! When I asked questions on the 'strategy' and asked for some changes, he became hostile and lost all composure - then got weepy, made excuses & offered to remove all his fees for a year in recompense. Bizarre. His incompetence cost me plenty.

After giving them my business, waiting two weeks, I was told that they could not. Also, afterwards I was told you could no longer get returns from taxes more than three years old. Every tax firm in the city of Billings told me this except for the ones doing my taxes. I had to call them and tell them. Alla very well knew this rule but did not tell me and allowed me to believe I was getting it all back. When confronted he is just like a con man talking circles trying to avoid and blame. I also requested that advanced child tax credit payments from 2021 be requested as mine were stolen. He requested a stimulus payment in the amount of $2700 , not three $400 child tax credit check payments. I would get a return of $4000. After everything I ended up paying $600 to file the returns with a promise of getting 4000 back. Obviously, since the wrong thing was marked, the IRS changed the return and I got back $83. I did not get my missing child tax credit checks and Alla tried to talk his way out of it. Even went as far as to tell me I told him to . He dod nothing wrong! Why the hell would I tell anyone to do my taxes wrong? I know the difference between a stimulus payment and an advanced child tax credit payment And my tax related should too. Why would I tell them to mark the wrong thing so that I end up with nothing. I do not appreciate his dishonest worm like behavior and could've done without this whole experience. I demanded a refund as I would've never paid $600 to file taxes that I was not getting a return back on. These were old taxes I did not have to. He refused and offered $300 blaming me for their mistake..he did not make a mistake and refused to be realistic. most frustrating experience I've ever had with tax preparer,

TL;DR Big costs a lot for trouble and headaches for years to come…read more You can see the story line from my previous reviews. The latest update being I tried to make some changes to my small business taxes and the IRS responded by telling me that my business was not registered properly (it was missing the correct form to register as an S corp (Eric's recommendation in the first place). Additionally, the IRS forms require a wet signature which Eric never requested from me, so even the forms that were filled out (1120S) were not valid. "...the IRS confirmed that neither 2020 or 2021 are reflected as 1120s, this means ... the IRS has no filings for the LLC." It was already expensive when I paid Eric to file it initially, now I have to pay a new professional to fix it. Lots of money spent and major anxiety and panic that I would have loved to avoid. I could have saved myself thousands if I had done additional research and gotten a personal recommendation. I would never recommend Eric to anyone.

He seemed to be in the business of preying on uninformed, naive consumers like myself and selling them huge amounts of insurance they do not need. After years of owning my condo I realized this; I had been paying insurance not just on my unit, but on things that the master policy covers on almost ALL condo complexes, and does, indeed, on mine. I didn't know this at the time, but Daniel should have! And after shopping around for better auto and health coverage I realized I had also been greatly overpaying for these.
